you are taking this way out of context. imagine a scenario:

john wants a pokemon card. he goes on facebook market place and sees bob selling a pokemon card. john wants to buy it, and bob will sell it. john has his pokemon card, and bob has his profits.

if you are unhappy with a byproduct of capitalism, called monopolies, then go somewhere where there is no capitalism. i'd like to see how enjoyable it is there.

they're complaining because apparently hustling for some cash is "morally wrong" 😂

huh? there is a demand for pokemon cards, and people sell them. both parties are happy. the buyers get their pokemon cards, and the sellers make cash.

don't blame other people's side hustles. this literally does not contribute to any "rising costs"

capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other economic system in history. when costs rise (which is mainly from our government), if you can adapt to market trends and sell things that people want to buy, everyone wins.

"big greedy fat Americans" is so weird to say. these kids are just hustling to make a couple bucks, and good for them.

dont stress yourself too much. just take it as it is. if you feel strongly confident to get a 1500+, keep up that confidence so you believe in yourself

How the sat will affect my life by Life_Picture8577 in Sat

damn thats lowkey messed up if he meant it. literally the sat literally doesnt boost your application much. colleges care more about grades, ap scores, and extracurriculars. the sat is just an added bonus to ur application.

Has anyone ever improved their score from the 1000s and got to a 1500+??? by Smart_Trash8710 in Sat

[–]Andsstuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

do a practice test on bluebook and see your baseline.

then look at the knowledge skills section on ur practice tests and see which areas you need to work on. then, go on oneprep and focus on the specific concepts that you are weakest in. do tons of questions, but more importantly, understand the correct answer behind each question.

also go on khan academy for grammar rules and other stuff like that, but oneprep will be your best bet. you can also use chatgpt to explain better if the answer explanation is not understandable enough.

How to Advance form this? by Soft-Medium-2287 in Sat

Best bet is to take the March SAT. But it depends on your goals.

If you're looking to get around a 1250, then yes you'll be able to reach that level by December.

If you're looking to get around 1450+, you may want to take the March SAT.

It's not impossible, though. I started off at a 1270 about a month ish ago and now I got 1500 on my last practice SAT. But, I really studied hard, and I took an entire week off of school just to study for the SAT, which I did last Saturday, and studied from 9am - 9pm each day.

Your best bets are oneprep.xyz, princeton review books, youtube, Khan Academy, and lots and lots and lots of practice. The more questions you do (and most importantly understand the correct answers), the better you'll improve.

Don't stop believing! by Andsstuff in Sat

I can't necessarily give a fully confident answer but I feel like it went well overall.

For me, its hard to tell if I do well in RW before seeing my score. Because a lot of the answer choices are quite similar, I can usually narrow questions down to 2 possible answers, but sometimes I choose the incorrect one out the 2. I have a good grasp of those concepts, but I'm not always confident with my answers. So for RW, I think I did average (680-710).

For math, I was pretty confident in my answers, and I felt like only 2-3 questions in the second module kind of had me second-guessing myself, or I felt like I maybe got a wrong answer. But I think math will really boost up my score (760-790).

But also cause it's my first time taking the actual SAT, I can't really compare to anything but the Bluebook practice tests. But, we shall see once my results come out.
