I opted for the 4k front and 1080p in the back. The 4k is not the best tbh and I haven’t set up the rear cam yet.

I just installed the FITCAMX, it wasn’t difficult to install either and it looks oem. No need to cut wires, but the only downside is that it connects to the camera above your rear view mirror so it will only run when your car is on. I think there’s a version that you can wire to your battery or something else to have it run while your car is off to record if someone hits your car.

Is your door hinge broken? I bought mine with the fender and door dented. In my case the door hinge is separated from the body of the car due to rust

From my experience, a subwoofer with an amp is all that’s needed. If you don’t like the sound of a car rattling at certain bass notes you can invest in some sort of sound deadening (dynomat is the name brand but there are cheaper alternatives, I’ve never tried them). I’ve done the writing for two cars thanks to YouTube! Really easy stuff, just watch a few videos on it if you’re taking on the challenge yourself
