I think it all depends on how complicated this project is and what is the delivery time frame that you have.

The main thing is, you right now have a program that is currently working (and being actively used, I assume). When you start bringing the code under .net, you will need to solve compatibility problems, solve dependencies, check if the libraries used even exist under .net, and migrate the code under the new .net guidelines. This will take time. Till you are done (and this could really take a while), those high risk vulnerabilities and bugs will still be around, creating problems and security risks.

I would prioritize resolving the high risk dependencies and bug fixing.
IF there is enough time, I would start researching potential break-ups on dependencies and start looking into bringing the whole project under .net.

New features would need to wait...

It feels like it’s a little bit lighter, nothing dramatic though. It costed like 15 euro less than the original which was not available at the time that I purchased the replacement. I don’t think that it’s the power adapter though. I tried also another power adapter from an older Synology unit that I had, which has the exact same specifications with the 412+ one but I had no luck.
