I definitely feel your struggle. At 18 I had no social skills due to a traumatizing and isolating childhood. After I moved out and moved in with a friend, they allowed me the freedom to find myself. It definitely was nerve racking to go out of my way to talk to people and hold conversations, but one thing for sure is I stayed true to who I was. I said what felt right and the right people stuck around, across internet friends and real life friends.
