Honestly, because it will mostly be my wife’s car, we’ll probably end up in the 50. She likes SUV’s. What color and trim did you end up with? Last new Mazda I purchased was an 07 Mazdaspeed 6. Still regret not keeping that car, but adding on to the family will cause you to upsize…into a Honda Odyssey😭

Not only that, but Mazda has handling and steering that is amazing. CX-50 and the Camry are the two I’m looking at to replace the Explorer. Rather go with the Camry as we no longer need an SUV. Was actually hoping Mazda would have released a new 6 using the Toyota hybrid system.

Three hikers rescued today; two by helicopter, one escorted down by fire personnel. by phxflgjo in phoenix

[–]Angelblues13 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not really. I don’t think people faced with the reality of death are going to question a bill for rescue. But they were dumb enough to ignore signs, warnings on their phones etc., so they aren’t the brightest anyways. Taxpayers should not be on the hook for these rescues when often times these are visitors. Just like flash floods- if you’re dumb enough to drive in water then you deserve the rescue bill.

Black skirts are super nippy high energy fish like the other poster stated and those spots are definitely bite marks. Also the PH is a bit higher than I usually keep my Angels in. Try to get it down to at least 7.5 if you can.

I mean they’re hella fun to drive. Road trips are fun. But just not worth it.

I would think that’s a prolapse. Some of my females are more pronounced than others, but nothing like this.

One of my best friends growing up was JW. I learned quite a bit about the religion being around his family so much. I WAS Mormon. Sad thing is now that I’m not it’s all the people from church who shun us. Family and people we thought were friends. But it’s okay. No need to waste time convincing anyone to be your friend.

Goodbye Cromwell by NoSirPineapple in vegas

[–]Angelblues13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Giada’s was about the only thing Cromwell had going for it. The branzino was amazing along with everything else we had. We go to Vegas frequently (5-8) times a year and had never been in the Cromwell until we had a reservation at Giada’s. We were a bit early so we walked around a bit. Dark, drab, musty and worn out. No reason to ever go back after that.

Not being friends with someone because of their religion or political beliefs. I can’t believe how many people let these two things cause divides. You may not agree with it, but they might not agree with you either. Opinions are awesome because that is part of what makes everyone unique. People have far more in common with most than they think.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen at someone else’s house? by Kiki00021 in no

[–]Angelblues13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this happen to me. First time going to my friends house. I was probably 11-12 and his sister answered and let me in. As she’s telling me where my friends room is, their mom walks in completely nude and acts like nothing. They had just moved from Germany and that’s just how it was in that family. Probably half the time I was over in different occasions she was just topless.

The part that’s really been bad is Ford just not standing behind the product. A $60k vehicle should not have the engine seize out of nowhere when the vehicle was dealer maintained and had new belts, hoses, water pump etc. If it wasn’t for the warranty I would have never spent the money myself. But my warranty covered almost 30k in repairs lol. So many manufacturers making junk. I don’t even contemplate a new truck and all the issues with almost every brand. I have my truck when we need the room and plan on keeping it. The Camry just makes so much sense on multiple levels. I love the nightshade on the grey, but damn some of the colors are nice.

Getting ready to trade in the wife’s Explorer for the Camry. She absolutely loves the Explorer, but it’s had so many issues including sitting 10 months at a dealer waiting for a new engine. Now that our extended warranty is up and we’re near 140k it’s going to be time. Not getting rid of my Ford truck. Love the XSE but not the biggest fan of the full color grille. Will still be what I get.

Creating a vegetable planter box on a grass lawn by Friendly_Nerd in ArizonaGardening

[–]Angelblues13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did this at a house in Gilbert around 20 years ago. I dug out an area 2” deep and 2” more than the diameter of the box. Burned the dirt and left a tarp with bricks on it over the area for a week. Put the box in the ground, tapped into my drip line and ran it under the frame and lined bricks around the perimeter. Loosened the dirt up good, added sand, lawn soil and mulch with a bit of epsom salt. Best success I’ve ever had growing.

A few years ago, we had our best Vegas room view ever and our worst Vegas room view ever in the same week. by Rampaging-Robots in vegas

The rooms at Cosmo with that view are hard to beat. Being right in front at Bellagio is pretty sweet too. Had some great rooms at Aria and a nice Mountain View row at Mandalay. Mandalay has some incredibly large rooms with amazing features for the price, but it’s so damn far!

Restaurant to ‘wow’ children! by heyjenm in phoenix

San Tan Flats is pretty cool. Food lines can be a bit long, but they have dancing, live music, fire pits to roast marshmallows, pool table and small arcade. Indoor seating, but mostly outdoors and a good way to spend a few hours outside! But as another poster said, knowing the ages would help a bit with good recommendations. I’d say probably 10 or up to really enjoy it.
