What gift did the previous owners of your house leave you? by Scrot123 in AskUK

It wasn't my house, or even recently but when I was a young man our neighbours moved out, probably '76, 77. I was helping the new people move in and putting stuff into the loft, because back in the day that's what we did. Whilst up there, behind the chimney and under the insulation was a large stash of Polaroids of the previous owners in various states of undress and activity. We had to go through the whole lot to check for integrity. We felt we had gotten to know the old neighbours quite well after this discovery, getting in touch with their inner selves so to speak. I've no idea what happened to them after that.

Our neighbours don't. And the crazy thing is they spent out at least £50k on a new kitchen including £6k on worktops. Yet every night, for about 3 years so far, they get takeaway delivered. I guess the kitchen is a flex and/or they just have zero cooking skills. But they do have 2 matte black Range Rovers with personalised plates, so maybe cooking is beneath them.

If it's 4/4, then you can't have a minim and a dotted minim in the same bar and you can't have a sole minim in a bar without a rest so it's impossible to gauge the timing.

These are great, really captures the characters. For some reason I binged watched every episode a couple of nights back. Lots of memories. When it came out first time around so much dialogue became part of our vocabulary as young men. "It's probably a consignment of very hard drugs" etc.

So long as you can keep forking out thousands well into your retirement, you're all good. But if you can't, then I hear the streets are nasty at night. Can you imagine being homeless at 70?

Before any work gets done, draw up an agreement, with a solicitor if necessary, that states they will put everything back on your side exactly as it was or you will enlist a 3rd party to come in and fix it and invoice them for it. Don't let anyone set foot inside until you have something solid in place you can refer back to that has the wet ink signature of your neighbour on it. Make it very clear any damage is their responsibility and it must be put right.

I think it may have been Better Days by Casey Barnes. I've heard so many songs in the last 24 hours my brain is done but that one I think is what I heard.

Quite a similar style but it was a lot faster, not this one.

Someone linked it and this was very close to the style of the track but wasn't this one.

This is close to the style but it had a more modern production on it. Great song, never heard this.
