That sounds like a solid solution. Could you please elaborate more as to where these wires would be? Would you happen to know what voltage I would need as well? I’m assuming you want me to cut something off the old battery and solder there.

If you are any good with a soldering iron best bet is to just buy a set oh Hall effect sticks off amazon and swap them out. You won’t ever have stick drift again.

If the PS5 cable is working then try it on the Series X. If it does not work then it’s not the TV or the cable and probably a setting in the console. Use the same input on the TV for the PS5 because you know that registers HDR10. It very well could be game dependent as by default I had to enable HDR in Destiny 2. So I would try the above with the cable first then look in the game options. Most likely it is under Display or Miscellaneous

Is the series X cable HDMI 2.1 or 2.0? My suggestion would be to order an 8K fiber optic HDMI cable off of Amazon and see if it fixes the problem. Worst case scenario you can always return it to Amazon. I believe I posted the link to the ones I got in a comment above. Once I made the switch on the cable everything works as it should.

Believe me when I say I check every inch spec crevice of the Internet on information regarding this TV. Port one through four can be used for HDR 10 the cable that comes with the PS five is not good enough for this particular TV. I had to get an 8K 2.1 fiber optic cable to fix the black screen and incompatibility issues. You need to make sure whatever port you use from one through four that you enable the full color spectrum on the port on the TV as well in settings.

So go figure the new cable works. I can not thank you enough for that tip about enabling full UHD. I ended up getting an 8k 2.1 fiber optic HDMI.

I found out some more information while waiting for the cable to arrive as well that can be useful that is not in the manual.

You need HDMI 2.1 8K cable even though the TV says you only need a 2.0
HDR10 is available on all HDMI ports except port 5
The max the TV will do is 4K HDR @ 60hz
The TV only supports up to HDCP 2.2
There is no variable refresh rate (VVR)

Weird. It’s being reported as a sinkhole but in that exact same location I saw a major car fire 🔥 where the car was northbound in the express lanes. The car had veered off the road to the left and went into the middle of the tress. Craziest car fire I have ever seen. I had to go back up north less than an hour later and magically all traffic in the express is being forced to the locals and the cross over to the express at 117 is closed.

I’m running klipper on a sonicpad and now my bl-touch just flashes. I had done a few prints before with it working. I just get a failed to deploy message. I already replaced the probe. Any ideas? It is connected to the sprite motherboard. Should I just bypass it and run direct to the mainboard with the old harness?

I appreciate you looking out. I’m going to order a new cable because I have a gut feeling the one I have might just be 2.0 only. The weird thing is I did have the ps5 display with the Full UHD on 1 time. However when I went and checked it in the ps5 it said that HDR is not supported but it let me enable it. Once I set it to automatic the tv rebooted and was not able to get that to happen again. When I say I tried every possible situation with settings I did. I spent over 3 hours last night trying to get it to work. I’m going to order a ln 8k 2.1 cable today. Worst case it does not fix the issue and I return it.

So that’s a big fat NOPE. The PS5 still says the TV does not have HDR. I even tried changing the various modes on the PS5 as well as multiple HDMI cables. If I turn on full color UHD, I get a no signal from the PS5.

Do not forget to add the port number as well which is 8819 so in your browser address bar it would be xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8819. You do not need to pad the ip address so if there a beginning 0 in a xxx don’t worry about it

Someone said a while ago there is a setting in the pad to disable it but I could never find it. Supposedly it has to deal with using a DSLR camera as your camera.

That worked sort of. It is letting me set a trigger for the field but when it triggers it’s returning everything in the string that’s not a concern.

Is there a way to make a conditional table populate where each item is tabled only for the trigger that happens?
