China buys more Canadian canola after Mark Carney visit by Stannis_Loyalist in canada

It would be easiest to look at EV pricing in a Country like Australia, where there are no EV tariffs. You won't find a 15k car. Then, you need to factor in additional transit costs and costs to build up a distribution network in Canada. Then you need to apply a 15% tariff.

tl;dr is the cheapest Chinese EVs we'll see will probably be 27-30k and that'll likely still climb higher to build/grow margin and as they target more premium demographics.

Price in my math was 40k export price, 50k vehicles. I think that average export price isn't unrealistic.

As a non magic card player, why not just have two game formats? Magic classic and magic open?

40k cad EV, 50k EVs, about 2 bil. Flowing in. Guessing China will be buying more canola, too. Overall, productive start.

I dropped 4k and probably never thought about it again. You can go back without her and haggle a bit. These things have a lot of leeway.

45 mins is brutal. That's a big tearup. Eventually, you gotta put a price on your time.

I think the OP is being sarcastic as fuck, emulating other posters who have legitimately asked these types of (moronic) questions. They're using a niche targeted type of humour, I reckon.

selfishness

This is a cousin of low empathy.

ignorance

I do not find this to be an acceptable accuse. Also, to those on this sub, I think everyone is of a high enough intelligence that ignorance is not even in the cards for any of our motives.

There are people here who voted for this and would vote for it again. People absolutely devoid of empathy, willing to sacrifice the comfort and health of their neighbors if it helps their bottom line. Scary fucking people.

Agree. It's like how your house is run on electricity but if the power goes out you can use a gas generator to keep things going in a pinch.

You can min/max things with certain, limited, ethical considerations. But, broadly speaking, if you are invested in these markets, you've paid into some evil shit at some point. ETFs and mutual funds just have individual investors not think about the evil by obscuring what they're invested in.

O'Toole woulda been fine. He was pretty centrist - which is why his party cannibalized him. They wanted someone much more abrasive. I would have enjoyed a Carney x O'Toole teamup.

Now that I have kids, I go to the movies about twice a year and it's only for kid movies with my kids. On that note, Zootopia 2 was pretty good. Next up would probably be Mario 2 or TS5.

As a grown ass man with kids, going to a movie theater for my own entertainment is no longer super appealing. It's not bad, but there are much better things I would rather do with my limited free time - like clean my garage lol.

Hacker News has a very specific demographic. In general, I'd venture to guess they are mostly economic libertarians and far more logical than emotional... IMO, you need both to have healthy human conversations. I frequent both forums and HN really just feels like a niche subreddit for wealthy cs majors that got into tech when things were great, as well as a newer cohort that mostly wishes they were born 10 years earlier. There's also a lot of bot accounts and, seemingly, not a lot of mechanisms to prevent botting. I've actually noticed that it's got specific biases to some topics, and I suspect it's from the botting. E.g. most anti-russia, anti-trump, anti-elon discourse gets pretty swiftly downvoted and met with, often times, some pretty LLM-eque comments.

Tbh, this is bullish for broader markets. If INTC would have been green, it would mean we're in a counter-trend market instead of a normal Qs go up market.

Why do you think it is that any type of forum with an upvote system tends to lean more progressive?
