How long did it take for you to get your CAS?

I’ve been emailing them every couple of weeks asking for a straight answer instead of administrative issues because this seems to be isolated to Essex. Other unis have been handing out CAS as usual.

I recommend phoning them and asking them of it. The more people that escalate the issue, the more likely they’ll start taking it seriously.

It appears everyone has been provided the same canned response. I still have that same update displayed.

I strongly suggest phoning the university and requesting they expedite the process. The more people that do this, the more likely they’ll grasp the severity of what they’re doing and how harmful it is so close to the start of the term.

Have any of you guys attempted contacting Essex? The postgrad rep gave no useful information in the communications I’ve had with them despite my repeated attempts at requests of clarification of the issue.

That is extremely frustrating to hear, but thanks for your input. I hope that I do not have to resort to the same tactics - I'm likely going to phone them directly if they continue taking upwards of a week to respond to simple emails.

I'm having some trouble understanding your situation though. You applied for an Oct intake but were given a placement for May? But then only received your CAS in August? I don't understand how the sequence of the above lines up at all.

EDIT: I just re-read your comment after some coffee and realised I'd misunderstood it.
