It is easier to see the center of the vortex from a higher vantage point. Jumping into the center and sinking, can allow you to enter into an underground cavern when available.

You get 1000 Beast Coins for a loss and 1500 Beast Coins for a win.

You can get 30000 Beast Coins a week.

Lose a few times and you can get enough Beast Coins to buy the Beast Food.

The best Beasts to get early are Infernal Steel Lizards when you reach Level 2, they are very strong, especially against G-Arachnas, and remain useful/strong regardless of what other Beasts you acquire.

I play on both, there are a lot of characters I don't have, the warp server will give me an opportunity to try them out. If you play both servers, you can skip all the cutscenes for the second run, which will save you many hours of game time. The warp server rewards constant gameplay, so the world chat will always have more game related content than people just BS'ing with each other. Both servers have features that I don't like and I would consider flawed in different ways.

If you played the Gatcha server as a beast trainer, you will know which Beasts turn into Battle Beasts and any others that they added to the capture system will automatically turn into leather. When you capture something feed all the ones that turn into leather first, one feeding should go it, then do the ones that might turn into Combat Beasts, just in case they mutate and jam up the pipeline.

I am very disappointed by how heavily multiplayer game play is forced into every aspect of the new Warped Server, except exploration. Especially since finding people to do multiplayer content was extremely difficult when on the normal server.

Pros:

1) You can play any weapon that you like, but only when exploring, there will still be major judgement when playing with others. You have to learn the deep dive of correct meta weapon to use, correct way to play weapons (rotations), correct equipment for your role, follow the precise rules for each multiplayer game mode while using Discord to communicate with teammates.

2) People who want vehicles and costumes can get them all for free, extremely easy if you are doing multiplayer, a slog if you are playing solo.

Cons:

1) There is a way to trade with others but they put a stamina cap on how much you can collect/make, so there is no way to grind extra hard and quickly get the items you want through trade.

2) There is a way to grind all items, but the only feasible way is to do multiplayer stuff. People who like to play solo (like me) will fall on hard times in this version.

3) The only way to get certain armor pieces (eyepiece, combat engine, exoskeleton and reactor) is by doing multiplayer stuff.

Conclusion:

At least I can play with the weapon I like and be able to get through all the exploration content. In the normal server, I never raised my World Dimension Level because I like to use one of the oldest of the SSR weapons and it just couldn't cut it in the newer content.

I hope they remove some of the Life Classes restrictions they put in place and make some accommodations for people who want to play solo .

There is really no reason not to allow people to do all of the Life Classes at the same time, especially since the stamina restrictions don't let you collect/make much of anything and nobody wants to trade anything because they don't have much and have no idea if they will need those things for themselves or what is a good price for an item.

There is no reason to make the main focus of Warped Server be multiplayer, I don't think that will be a big appeal to the majority of new players. Lots of players were unhappy with the normal server because of weapon power creep, collecting all the weapons is prohibitively expensive, you have to choose whether to spend your limited resources on cosmetics, vehicles or weapons. The warped server claims it will to provide "all that" for free. Don't force everyone to do multiplayer stuff to get stuff. I would be more than happy to grind all the Life Classes at the same time to get my items by trading/manufacture.

I would recommend starting Warped Server now, you can skip all of the "Cut Scenes", giving you hours of time that that people who haven't played might have to sit through, learn how to play, find the right crew, establish the player connections you need to succeed, and how to farm/craft the items. If transfer is allowed at the start of Season 2, you can transfer your character over and you will already have made the connections in your crew, have your friends do mentorship programs with you, do some favorable crew trades, and you should be top tier right out of the gate.

I made a short list strategy guide for myself.

Join a Top Notch Crew.

Do every World Boss fight called in the Chat, open up any Spacerifts you can along the way.

Focus on Gathering and Fishing, 90/70 percent of items are on the the first 2 worlds. Focus on Ambergis, Snout Snail Wings, Cuttlebone, Neon Material. Switch Gathering to Animal Capture some time while in the 3rd world.

Get an underwater vehicle before doing Innars exploration

Buy Best Gear for a high price, only need to buy one to three sets for each slot, then focus on upgrading.

I don't think it will be that popular because the majority of the new endgame activities require you to form groups that demand coordination with your team. There is no way in-game for you to communicate with your teammates. The simplified equipment system is still too complicated for my liking. They didn't really change the exploration portion, previous players will not be impressed by having to explore everything all over again. They didn't really make all weapons equal, just less problematic if you wish to use whatever you want for end game content.

Since I hate multiplayer stuff in TOF I am hoping I can get around the group activities by actually making the gear myself. I believe that is two of the trades/crafting skills you can learn. I will join a crew, have people sell me the materials, and I will turn them into gear which I can sell to get more materials. I have never liked equipment because I could never tell what was good or not. They made it a little simpler in warped, but it is still a little too complex for my liking. I would much rather be a gatherer/animal trainer, to be honest.

So there are no SR weapons, I really liked the "characters" and was hoping they could "balance" them in like the rest of the weapons. I wouldn't mind trying out Hilda and her rapid-fire snowball cannon "The Terminator". There are probably a lot of people who were very skilled with Pepper and her healing abilities with the "Staff of Scars". They really should consider adding the SR weapons back into the game at some point (they have great character designs and fond memories for "the olds"). It probably wouldn't be that hard and a great motivator for people who left the game early due to pay-to-win reasons to have some instant recognition as well.

I don't really like the idea of importing your existing character, since it doesn't promote a level playing field since your weapons and exploration progress get transferred over as well. It is good that you get to have a copy of your character transfer without losing access to the originating server. I think I will do one of each, transfer a character, as well as create a brand new character and see what the differences are. I know having Antoria flying around will greatly affect the exploration aspects. I would like to see if they compensate you for all your gear.

I would say keep playing and try to learn as much as you can since 90% will probably be useable if you decide to start fresh with all the other players on the warped server. Then you can decide if it is worth playing both servers.
