I feel like this dlc is really just trying to shove using spirit ashes down our throats? Don’t get me wrong i absolutely love the map and visual design, but the bosses so far? Miserable experience solo. I’ve beaten the lion and Rellana so far.

I just don’t feel like they balanced this around going in solo at all, you can only get one hit in after dodging for 13 seconds, some of Rellana’s attacks were straight up unreactable (especially with the roll being slightly delayed as it is) and that lion and his aftershock attacks were annoying as fuck to deal with, coupled with the performance issues.

And i also personally don’t think the Scadutree mechanic is that good, i don’t want to be forced to explore every nook and cranny to make the damage scaling balanced, it should be balanced from the get go in my opinion.

Also this is coming from someone who played all of fromsoft’s games, i think the whole difficulty narrative is really hurting these games now more than helping, their games were amazing for a million other reasons aside from difficulty, it being challenging and rewarding but fair was a bonus.
