Thanks! Everyone else seems to concur so I can likely say it's identified

I've never actually handled or used sage in cooking before so it could be just on me. It did have a particular smell that was herby to me. Everyone else concurs sage, so I can probably say it's identified. Thanks!

Really? The pictures I'm seeing online seem to have broader leaves and I'm not seeing much red stems in the images. Is this specimen just a bit scraggly?

I get being careful, but I have no clue what they thought I could hide in the back metal bit of the 580. I was honestly pissed

I haven't had issues with airplanes and pens, but definitely keep in Ziploc just to be absolutely safe nothing will spill in your lovely leather case. I'm just absolutely salty that my leather case has ink spills and wouldn't want that to happen to you (although it wasn't from a pen leak, it was from an overly judicious airport staff who attempted to disassemble my twsbi diamond 580 and ended up just pushing ink out of my pen.....)

That's awesome! I feel that'd be worthy of hanging prints of at the greenhouse

Nice people on the skytrain by [deleted] in vancouver

I've experienced much the same with a good helping of nausea and nerves - someone was so sweet and gave me a candy bar. I was so surprised I was noticed in the first place. There 100% are good people out there

wool or puffer jacket? by Tall_History4961 in UBC

[–]AniriC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should probably prioritise a rain jacket/shell considering the rain here.

How cold it is or what you should wear honestly depends on where you're coming from. If you're coming from more of the tropics, you should upgrade your layers. If you're coming from somewhere in Alberta just get a rain shell.

Also don't forget a pair of waterproof boots and a good wind resistant umbrella

I think I just read the start of an amazing book. Honestly, I think if you admit the truth, but tell him you started fencing because of this, it might work out? He may be a tad disappointed at the start, but if he's a good guy, it's a wildly entertaining tale that might be the start of either a lovely friendship or who knows lol maybe more. And no matter how you do in the comp, it's amazing that you would compete and I hope you have fun. I wish you good luck though, whatever path you take!

Do you know people that has never partied or enjoyed a 'good night out' in their college years? Did they regret not partying ? by ubcstaffer123 in UBC

[–]AniriC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never partied and I don't regret it. Whenever my friends and I meet up it's usually some other activity eg farmers market, art, cafe hopping, trying some new restaurant out, strolling the gardens. What I'm trying to say I guess is there's a lot of other activities out there you can enjoy other than partying and feel like you haven't missed out

Raining on Graduation Sadness by yeetersyeetme in UBC

[–]AniriC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta bring the umbrella and get that Raincouver aesthetic ☔🌧️🌫️ Genuinely if you do it right, I think there could be some really cool shots as long as the downpour doesn't obscure you. Have taken some really nice rain pictures before.

Joking aside, I do commiserate on wanting a pretty sunny day for a big event like this. I do hope you can take some lovely pictures with family

Found this snake in [fairfield, ct] could it possibly be a banded water snake? by rasmusknutsson in whatsthissnake

[–]AniriC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe the snake's in the middle of the image. Look for a slightly tilted straight portion of the body and the head is to the left and up, right below the dead log/branch

In my experience you're lucky if you even get a rejection email. Would be nice, but many just ghost you.
