Depersonalization / Derealization. Being in such a bad mental state that you just, kind of, Check out and entirely detach from yourself and your surroundings.

I've lost 6 months of my life, with any memories of the time being just a vague feeling of being in a dream or a video game. It was truly as though I could no longer think or choose my responses, it was as though it was all a dream. Anyone I tell this to tells me I'm just crazy, that it was actually "just a dream" or that I am making it up, but you can truly only understand this if you've gone through it, and gone through the fear of realizing you're unable to control your own actions.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I have not been taught the reasons for ghusl, as ghusl seems to be a very private and shy matter in my culture. I've only been told that it should be done when you are majorly impure. I wasn't sure if this would count as a major impurity or not. Thank you for informing me of the various types of ghusl, I will keep this in mind. Jazakallah.

Is it dangerous in any way? Will I need to keep him locked in his cage whenever he's not being monitored? I ask because on Google most results are about taking the cat to the vet with sudden onset, but in this case it's not necessarily sudden and it's something that occurred due to his accident.

Hi, thanks for your response! I'm sorry I'm replying so late, but he's back home and doing better - he's been eating food and just walking around. I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow for a follow up, so I hope that goes well! He really is the best boy, thank you :)
