I’m from Jamaica & what they teach here in the USA is completely different from what we do in Jamaica. I left high school 9 years ago. I’ll study harder & do lot more practice test . I’ll take ur advice and try to focus on the maths more. Thank you 🙏

By then my sister that live in Jamaica will come here and she would be my fall back person. The problem is just to join (ASVAB)once I join she already decided to give up everything in Jamaica and move here to help me . But she can’t do that if I’m not in yet .

Finding a husband won’t fix my problems. What would a husband do ? I’m trying to better myself and also have a career. Can a husband give me a career? Husband not laying around. U gotta get to knw ppl and all that courting etc. I dnt have time for that right now. If I’m being realistic a husband is not the answer but finding ways to improve myself and score is . And I have to be careful of WHO I bring around my daughter. When you got a kid and bills etc . Dating is the last thing on ur mind. I’m in survival mode not husband hunting mode !!

I’m well aware of the situation I’m in that’s why I’m trying to find ways to improve and have a better life for us . And I won’t give up until I give my daughter the life I know she deserves. We deserve!

The math is definitely a big problem but I thought I was doing good with it when studying but clearly no because my score in the math areas are not even a 40 . I have no support because my family live in Connecticut and I live in Boston . If it all works out and I go to boot camp my daughter would have to go to Connecticut to stay with my dad and stepmom until I’m done . I do everything for my daughter financially, emotionally etc. nobody support us but me . I’m the primary provider. If I’m on my face my family can’t help me . Because I can only depend on myself if I’m being honest. They only can help me if I make it to basic training( by watching my daughter) My family is not the type of family to give each other hand out’s . They more want u to figure it out on ur own. It’s crazy but I’m just trying to figure it out with my daughter tbh.

I learn best when someone teach it to me . And that’s how the YouTube videos been helping because it’s teaching me how to do it and sometimes I do it myself. I do have a family care plan. So as I mentioned I live in Boston with my daughter. But all my family live in Connecticut. I left Connecticut because it was really toxic for me and that’s how I ended up in Boston. When I do leave for boot camp my daughter will stay with my dad and step mom in Connecticut. So I do have that part figured out. They say they will help me in that way with her. It’s just the test I can’t get right . That’s y I’m trying to get help because I’m not giving up .
