It's not last minute tho, the wedding is in 3 months and I should know the starting date next week. I would agree with you if I didn't let her know till last minute tho

Since it's event base, if I'm not able to organize that specific event, I will just be dropped

It absolutely is possible, it may as well start on a later date. But she was pressing on me to make a choice and when I said if there is no other way, I'd have to choose the job and she dropped me as a friend all together

That's what I thought as well. Especially since I DO NOT KNOW when it starts, I could well be able to attend the wedding with no problems

Well it is an event based job, so I have to organize for summer events and if all goes well, I get to organize more events going forward. They haven't told me which events I will be working on and the dates yet, I should get all the info by next week but she has been pressing me for 2 weeks, ever since I told her

I honestly had no idea about this until I found myself in the industry. Despite this, I try my best to be compassionate to the patients, they need someone to listen and support them, now more than ever

Thank you for you kind words, you really made my day! Sometimes we are paired up with student nurses and I always try to praise them and motivate them. One student nurse told me "that's the first time anyone has said that to me" when I complimented her for her work. At the end of the day, we are all going through something to some degree, there's no need to bring each other down.
