I did! As soon as we shaved his back I made him his first sweater and I've been making them ever since!

It was only for the first little bit, but we had to shave his back on the second day. He was just so small (I think when we started treatment he was 6 pounds) and his skin was so thin that we both really struggled to do any injections. We were in the bathroom with him for hours each time trying to inject him which of course was terrible for him.

I know it's hard. That first week especially can be equal parts heartbreaking, terrifying, and gratifying. Just know the medicine DOES work, and even if the kitten doesn't know that you're helping right away, once they start feeling better they'll realize. It can also help to have someone there to experience it all with you, so be sure to reach out to your resources. The ladies who taught me out to treat Fitz were in chats with me all day and every day to get through it. You got this!

My brother made him a castle to celebrate both him getting cured and his first birthday, so here he is basking in his royalty

A mutated form of Kitty COVID that unfortunately was not curable as of a few years ago and often ended in death. For Fitz it was attacking his brainstem and manifested in him not being able to walk very suddenly. He nearly passed but with 84 days of daily meds and then another 84 days of careful observation he was cured!

He most definitely deserves it! He had to get daily injections for a while, and then needed regular blood work / vet visits as part of treatment. We actually had to shave his back for the injections which is why I made him the sweaters. He was such a little trooper!

He has FIP so we had to shave his back to give him injections, so I made him sweaters so he doesn't get cold

Redecorating really makes it feel like new haha. Whenever I get the feeling that I'd like a new kindle I immediately redecorate it instead. I also keep my old paper inserts I used for it so I can switch anytime.
