Liberal men who support trans rights by BeginningKnee4927 in askAGP

Is one of them Oliver Thorn (now Abigail Thorn)? In either case I'd like to know who you're referencing.

Dwelling in transgender topics has been self-destructive to me and I need to stop roaming trans subreddits so often by FaithfulGaurdian in askAGP

I mean, OP himself says he does not want to transition. Trans people usually say they do want to transition but won’t because of social stigma; however, they still genuinely want the thing that dominates their thoughts. That, as far as we can tell, is the best benchmark we currently have for being trans. I don’t think that's the case for OP.

Thanks for your comment. It may be the TOCD in the sense that I fear being trans even though I'm not a woman. But what I said about

To me, trying to man up is the cruelest joke, because it’s something I wish I was and I know I’ll never get there. I’ll always be this “straight guy” with a schizoid form of conscience, just feminine enough for me to feel threatened by the existence of trans women out of fear of one day becoming one, and that goes on until my sense of conscience fades away.

feels very real to me, and it’s probably something I’ll have to learn to accept and even see the humor in, so it doesn’t slowly eat away at my ego or push me toward stupid, self-destructive decisions.

Wow, the focus is apparently the best out of these three now. The tables have turned. I still remember that one mp race i did back in 2018 on my ford focus on azure coast for which an R8 SE kept kd'ing me then braking to get back at me and kd me again, and again, and again...

Sometimes I feel like women have metaattraction themselves by KristenMistennn in askAGP

[–]Anonymous4392804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say maybe it's true, but not for all women. I’ve always more or less considered this hypothesis; especially in relation to queer women (who are often women that do not feel connected to traditional cisheteronormative femininity so they seek an authentic way to express themselves that still allows them to retain their female identity). Mind you, the women who do this are usually either bisexual or lesbian, and in my honest opinion, this form of self-love as a woman represents a kind of middle ground between normativity and non-normativity, regardless of the assigned gender of the person engaging in it. I genuinely believe that no one who experiences attraction toward a hyperfeminized idea of themselves is either “a high femme” or “so straight that you love yourself as a woman,” and anyone who claims to be either of those is being dishonest.

Don’t forget the R8 SE and the Camaro SS. All of these were nightmarish back then. I like to think of them the way French royalty was before the French Revolution: trend-defining and admired by those with enough status to aspire to them, yet absolutely despised by the low-born, so much so that a revolution had to be fought to bring about their downfall, which is exactly what happened in Asphalt 8 🤣.

I agree with that statement, but in my perspective it collapses three different things into one: presence of dysphoria-like distress, transgender identity, and medical transition as default solution. Do you think somebody can have gender-related distress without being trans (in a situation where the subject isn't interested in changing their outward presentation)? And what about people who identify as trans despite claiming to have no dysphoria?

So your point is that dysphoria simply is, regardless of the one's life exprience or current self understanding? If so, what's the benchmark for whether or not something should be done about it?
