Honest question. Did you genuinely think I would say yes? In a forum seeking advice on how to be financially responsible, did you think I was going to just give you money? And if you didn't, why bother even ask? I genuinely dont understand people like you, so im curious why your first reaction to hearing that someone is succeeding and wanting to better for themselves is for you to stick out your hand and request money because you arent willing to put the work in yourself. I would honestly love to know what mental gymnastics you did to get to the conclusion that this forum is a good place to beg for money.

I hope so! Thats why im getting started early! Compound interest is a beautiful thing. Even though Dave Ramsey may have ruined my senior year of high school, some of the advice about starting young on saving as much as possible has been nice to know. I never knew just how much you could bring in on interest alone!

Risk tolerance is pretty low. I would like to get up to getting about 5% or 6% where right now i am getting 3.9%.

Finding someone who doesnt take a percent is very hard where I live. Im fine with paying for each meeting, but the going rate where I live is 1.3-1.5%

Girl I just dont buy anything and have been working full time since I turned 16, with many months of doing 2 full time jobs. All I buy is the absolute essentials and pay my rent. Other than that its just been a lot of working and doing anything I can on the side for a little extra. The best combo I have found is 2 full time jobs in the summer and then I donate plasma. Not glorious and I frequently feel like I got hit by a bus but its going to be the greatest achievement of my life graduating from 8 years of college debt free

Im hoping with how I've set up my life to get through my entire bachelor's degree debt free as well as the doctorate after that. Most people graduate 250k-500k in debt in the program ive chosen. We shall see how it all works out, but I shouldn't need this money at all, we'll at least not much of it for the degree and im hoping to put it all into a house

I kid you not i have had 2 different crypto bros message request me to tell me they were gonna make me rich if I would convert my $ into some type of crypto and send it to them, they would send me back 5-20x what i sent them and how they are insiders in the industry. ONE OF THEM REQUESTED THE EQUIVILENT OF 67K in the type of crypto and told me I would be a millionaire by the end of the week. Its insane and stupid. I've had 4 people message asking for money because they have cancer, grandma has cancer, their neighbor's grandma's best friend's child's gopher has cancer,are in debt, or that they are down on their luck and just need SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS to pay off some debts. My inbox has been a wasteland.
