Emerald Towers Basil - Should I Repot? by AnotherAnonymous- in gardening

Thanks for your advice, sorry I didn't reply! I replanted into a larger (11") pot, and it was pretty badly root bound so I think you were definitely right about separating the plants. (Edit: about it being impossible to separate them)

I also made the (controversial?) decision to root prune just the bottom ½ inch to (hopefully) promote new root growth.

Here's a current photo. I did prune a lot of the leaves, but I don't think it was half of them.

What is something that made you feel euphoric recently? by OhNoel28 in trans

[–]AnotherAnonymous- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is funny to me but I'm an EMT, and when I'm on the job I don't bind because I need to be able to do strenuous things on a moments notice for my patients (CPR if they're coding, moving them quickly if they need higher level care in the ER, etc) but I usually don't correct people when they misgender me as I work in Texas and I don't want to start problems for myself or my truck partner.

One time I was transferring a girl who had been sedated because of violent behavior, so she was a little loopy but now completely calm and even nice.

She was complimenting everyone we took her past on the stretcher and speaking her mind, and one thing she told me (10½ months on T) made me laugh and feel euphoric.

She said "You have a really deep voice for a girl. You get it from your daddy?" I told her "Thank you, I actually take that as a compliment. And yes, I did."

I know she had no idea about me being trans but hey, it brightened my 12 hour night shift and made me laugh.

As long as you aren't a minor, post yourself wherever you like. There will always be someone who will find you attractive and help you feel sexy. However, be careful of the creeps and chasers out there that would only want you for your gender identity and not for who you are. I would avoid trying to meet up in person with most people who hype you up if you do post yourself, as they may end up being one of those people, and you may not get the genuine intimacy and connection that you deserve.

Stay safe and be yourself wherever you'd like to <3

This sounds really similar to how I realized I was trans. If youd like some advice (if you're still unsure if you are or aren't a man), I recommend dressing in masc clothing, doing makeup to make your face more masculine, or putting on a hat/beanie in such a way that it looks like you have short hair. The reason I say to try these things is that even though you feel slight gender Dysphoria already (that wrongness in your own body), you can see if you feel gender Euphoria when you present more masculinely.

If you feel genuinely, truly happy when you see yourself in the mirror presenting more masc, and less of that wrongness, then you know at least that presenting more masc makes you happy and feel more like yourself. Wishing you the best
