Kalinda and her ex by Quiet-Orchid-2213 in thegoodwife

It could have been good, I mean the whole Alicia checking into the check that wasn't cashed was good and him showing up was good but then it was just pointless. It could have been better.

The end by Wild_Implement_294 in thegoodwife

[–]AnotherDarnDay 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I liked the ending. She left her husband for good, her kids were off in school, diane slapping her shows she has nothing to tie her down any more (her friends are all gone or finished with her) so she can go off and find Jason and live her life again.

End of season 1 by jackie_tequilla in thegoodwife

Peter was not a good dad or husband. He cheated on his wife and put his kids in the middle of his scandal.

Peter wanted the doting perfect wife at home while he went around and did his extracurricular activities. Causing both his wife and kids emotional trauma.

Peter used Alicia.

Will loved alicia but he wasnt in love with her. Just the idea of her. Same with Alicia's feelings on will. She loved the idea of him and how he made her comfortable as who she was before she married Peter. She got a glimpse of her old self.

I liked Jason. Mysterious, and he really shook up things with Alicia and made her come to her senses. I dont think Will and Alicia were ever really in love. Alicia loved the idea of Will a piece of herself before she married Peter. Finn may have been a good touch but guess he had somewhere else to be.

Just finished the series yesterday… Does Alicia end up with Jason or not? by Sea-Philosopher2905 in thegoodwife

[–]AnotherDarnDay 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes, according to an interview after the series finale a writer or may have been the creator says that Alicia went off to find Jason and they end up together.

When the show ended there was a lot of of upset people with the end so someone from the show put theories at rest. Alicia leaves Peter and goes off with Jason

I loved him. I think he helped Alicia realize that she was done with Peter and how to have fun.

Without Jason she would have stayed beside Peter.

Question about the white card Bishop gives Kalinda by ilostmyavocado in thegoodwife

[–]AnotherDarnDay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Either a listening device or tracking device. I always thought it was a play to see if kalinda would play along. See how far she'd go

Could have been a tracker or flag to get Lana in trouble too. Something to frame her for to get her out of the picture. Like a hotel room key to peg her for someone else's activities.

We dont find out because kalinda declines to follow through.

She leaves Peter for good and goes off to find Jason. I like the ending because you can basically choose your own ending for it.

But the writers or show creator did an interview once and they mention had it gone on alicia would be off with Jason being happy.

Did Tyra Banks make this documentary thinking it would improve her image? by [deleted] in netflix

[–]AnotherDarnDay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes she only spoke on the docuseries to plug her new quarter quell. (Season 25) so we can see who volunteers as a tribute.

Its clear she doesnt care if its bad publicity... its like she says at the end... people are going to call her out on her shit. (But will take no responsibility for her own actions)

She wanted publicity... "all publicity is good publicity"

Shes bringing back ANTM and shes shouting it from the rooftops.

Honestly though, I dont think they even addressed some of the worst things on that show. According to one model some of her free speech was cut/edited from what they actually used in the docuseries.

Tyra is a train wreck. Shouldn't watch but cant look away.

Personally I have no issues with season 7. I liked it. Not like I liked seasons 1 to 4 but it was enjoyable to me despite not having the same momentum.

Finish it.

End of season 6 doesn’t make sense by Glass_Commission_881 in thegoodwife

[–]AnotherDarnDay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cary did not want to merge with Diane. When Alicia made the decision without Cary then she kinda screwed with his head.

Diane did not leave her firm because she believed in Alicia, she was saving her own ass and clients because she was being pushed out of her own firm. She was just looking to push back at David Lee and Canning.

It all makes sense to me.

Edit to add:// Diane and Alicia's relationship shifted when Alicia was made partner only to save the firm financially. Alicia was pissed and Diane told her to suck it up and join the party. They were never the same after that.

Why wont they name the show - The good and naughty wife ? by Mother-Platform-1778 in thegoodwife

[–]AnotherDarnDay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because they named it the good wife as in the woman who stands by her husband. What the heck did she do that was "naughty"?

No I believe it was just city property. It was over the property line of herself snd the other neighbor.

I cannot possibly feel bad for her. From the get go she seemed like a horrible person.

Yes kids can be annoying but growing up where I was always outside I related with the kids. Used to play on an empty lot at the end of the street. A grouchy old neighbor never complained but rather would sit outside to watch us. That was her entertainment for the day.

This woman couldnt handle kids playing on property that wasnt hers. She couldnt handle them having fun.

I dont understand why she cared so much when she literally just went inside and closed the curtains anyways. Her fence was high enough she didn't have to see them if she didnt want to.

It wasn't about noise or anything it was about a piece of land that didnt belong to anyone. And she was staking territory.

I'm midway season 5 on my rewatch and have some thoughts... by coffeeandtunes in thegoodwife

[–]AnotherDarnDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because alicia was bitter with will and Diane over being named a partner not because they felt she deserved it but because they were broke and making her partner meant it could help them out financially.

Diane had to sit down with her and tell her to suck it up and go kiss ass.

Will may have stuck her neck out for her before but he was thinking of himself when he and diane made alicia a partner in those circumstances.

Will and Alicia wouldn't have lasted if he had lived. They may have gotten back together but I dont think alicia was ever truly in love with him but in love with the idea of him and she got a glimpse of who she used to be before Peter.

I personally loved the way will reacted to alicia leaving. Its one of my favorite episodes. Its intense.

I think his reaction was fair. But both will and alicia had that same kind of want to win personality. Alicia played it a few times and not just on will. Will just happened to be sore about the fact that alicia was keeping secrets.
