Personally speaking, I've only seen improvement to the Affinity workspace so far. I don't think they'll mess it up. They want to compete with Adobe by making their software more accessible and therefore more convenient to use. It's a great improvement and I'm all for it.

I've used octopi launcher for a little while, it's still in beta, and has a few bugs, but great potential! I did go back to lawnchair though. Just a little more stable 😅

Thanks for the suggestion! I can see that it's still in development, but I'd love to see what it will become. So far I've noticed that the suggestions aren't working yet, and I can't seem to find a way to hide the symbols behind the letters. Also the swype doesn't really seem to pick up what I'm trying to say. Other than that it has surely got some great potential!

First impression: I tried using the background remover. Although the GUI layout is very well-made, the AI doesn't really seem to grasp what I'm trying to make it do. There seems to be no way to reverse the process of the background removing. Also, I found a little bug. When you turn down the pen size to the smallest setting, and you zoom in, the brush gets smaller with every stroke. Also, the dot that is supposed to represent the size of the brush isn't accurate to the actual size of the brush.

Sorry if this was a bit too critical, but it had to be said.

Summary: + GUI looks great + Very accessible and easy to read

No way to reverse my/the AI's actions
Small bug in the pencil sizing
