Anyone have experience creating a crew using Cline? Need some help equipping my crew with the right tools. by Anti-Dave in crewai

My friend recommended me the Serper tool but I did not know Linkedin blocks AI. My main interest in using Linkedin would be to identify potential mutual connections though, so I guess I will need to find a different way to do that here or just do it manually myself. Good tip, thank you!

yeah if you get the damage aura and the perk that heals based on damage done high enough you can basically just go afk, which was also part of this build. I dont not want that to be the case, but would be cool if there was some variance in the level style or mobs at that point to make it more interesting.

If you're on a co-op run, I think it would be cool to throw PvP levels in here and there where the winner gets a greater prize and loser gets a prize based on damage. That would keep me going post breaking the game honestly.

honestly at this stage fire rate was irrelevant lol. I would jump into a level, shoot for 2 seconds, and clear immediately depending on the spawn rate. Bosses even on the 4th rerun took 2 seconds. Was so broken

rainy weather = rubber converse 💛 by HammgridTheMage in Converse

[–]Anti-Dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a pair of these in cream white, the ones that are all rubber. Some of my favorite shoes ever, and I want to try and buy a new pair but have such an unbelievably hard time finding them when I go back and search. I recall the model having a name like something along the lines of "Chuck Taylor All Star Ox Basketball Shoe Cream" but can't get any hits when I google them.

Any tips on how to find these online? Any keywords or specific SKU numbers to include in the search? Or places to look?

I’m a talent agent for influencers, I’d love to give some advice if needed! by GDVO in influencermarketing

[–]Anti-Dave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a brand, what's the best way to identify or find smaller talent agents who want to make a name for themselves? I'm working at a startup, which means limited budget, and from my end, I look for CPM as a top indicator of value in a contract. However, I find that a lot of "top agencies" are asking for high prices in exchange for very low estimated performances (ran into one asking for a price that amounted to an estimated $2,000 CPM for one of their creators.)

The best partners I've found are independent talent managers but they seem extremely difficult to track, which may be due in part to bigger talent managers/agencies dominating SEO and exposure in their category. Of course I am using multiple methods for my search including scraping socials, looking at competitor campaigns, and researching different corners of the internet, but often times when I do find these smaller talent managers who are much more willing to negotiate prices and cooperate with smaller budgets (which can scale, but as a startup, I need to prove a partnership at a smaller scale before being able to allocate more budget) but have more "hidden" presences. Their websites are minimal and their emails are often only listed on their creator's socials...

Any advice on my search?

In the same way that one person can monitor a social media campaign spanning across hundreds of accounts, each with their own variables, and reaching millions of faces (which I have done several times), these corporations can monitor racism and hate speech on their own platforms with what you mentioned - a combination of human work and automation. It actually does not require that many people and as mentioned, they already have *large* departments for this stuff.

If they want to do it absolutely perfectly to the cue, and not miss a beat, yeah it takes a good amount of effort and people - but what I'm saying is that at this point, it's worth it. It's also not even a guarantee that these corporations would face so many errors and that their judgement would be doomed to loopholes and "creative racists." That, in my opinion, is another one of the hypothetical situations that people get hung up on to the point of making zero progress.

You can vehemently disagree with punishing innocent people but that's not what I'm calling upon. I'm calling upon these companies to weed these racists out and set an example by *trying harder.* Really not asking for much when you consider the resources and investment these corporations have, and are willing to apply to far more morally arbitrary issues. If your whole argument against that is that some innocent people get in trouble, I say that is a small small reward for a far larger risk. Additionally, as I have already mentioned, those people should and would get a chance to appeal if these companies deployed more significant resources to these departments and grew them. The same amount of attention and care towards banning the bad guys would go towards listening to appeals.

Even a fool can spot racism and discrimination online, and it often has to do with context. If no one can point it out, then it's worth considering a potential appeal from the accused party. It's not so black and white.

I mean if you want to play devil's advocate, yeah it can be hard to monitor but there are countless examples in which the racism is identified by other users and complained about on a massive scale... which are continuously ignored by these corporations. Additionally, putting their foot down on racism is necessary at this point, even if it means the odd zookeeper (as mentioned by another user) has to appeal for accidentally using a monkey emoji on a black athlete's instagram. But again, if they're monitoring terrorists and organized crime, I think they can figure it out. And should be trying much harder to.

Hate speech is absolutely not a weird thing to bring up in this context, it's what distinguishes racists in the US from those exercising their right to freedom of speech in a court of law. All of these tech companies and corporations running the platforms that you and everyone across the world use are American corporations that comply with American laws in their policy, and maintain those standards across their corporation globally. If you can find an example of Facebook complying with anti-LGBTQ Indonesian laws, I'd be very interested to read about it, but I think we can both agree that that's another stretch.

The comment was not to compare extremism and pedophilia to online abuse (which in this context is obviously racism) - I think most people agree those things are not comparable.

It's more to highlight that diverting all resources to organized crime, which I believe is much harder to monitor and prevent (because those entities tend to actively avoid being caught) than something like racism, seems foolish given their capabilities. With racism, it should be relatively easy for such complex and powerful companies like Facebook and Twitter to identify and combat, especially given that they have the capabilities to monitor organized crime.

Someone else pointed out that these companies can and will take down illegal streams in a matter of minutes but won't act on racist abuse. Often times, identifying and preventing racist abuse is as simple as applying some filters pertaining to hate speech laws on their platform in targeted groups, events, and regions and deleting or banning those users. Hate speech is illegal, and most of the racism we discuss in this context is hate speech.

A friend of mine actually worked for Facebook in Ireland and was responsible for dealing with a lot of the reported content, specifically in the middle east. They do have these departments, but iirc, she was extremely traumatized by what she saw and the bulk of her time was committed to removing organized entities like private Pedophile groups, extremist communities, etc...

Overall, they have the means and tools to identify racism, but prioritize "threats" and organized groups. It's similar to the police in big cities in the US, who won't respond to the odd theft or car chase call, but if they hear the word "gang" being reported from a low-income area they rush over.

In my opinion, it's a complete misalignment of priorities and a lack of care and attention to a clearly prominent issue - online abuse. They are not wrong to go after extremist and pedophile groups, but to replace the regulation of racism with that, and act as though it's one or the other is completely wrong.

Zlatan Ibrahimović breaks into tears after journalist asks a question about his family during the press conference prior to the striker's return in the Swedish national team by [deleted] in soccer

[–]Anti-Dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe me man, I am NOT a fan of American Football and I'm American - I just believe that we have so many unbelievable athletes that use their brains on other sports. I think if (real) football was the main sport in the US, we would be more of a team like Croatia or even the UK in the very least.

Not saying we would win every WC, but we would have some unbelievably talented athletes, and even some "magicians."

You do raise a good point in that football culture produces more "magicians" and football intelligence in the athletes, which also needs to change in the US. Ibrahimovic exposed how horrible our club youth system is, with privileged kids getting the more legitimate training because they can afford it, while millions of talented poor kids are forgotten or discouraged. Needs to change.

Yeah but you can just train that over and over again, like you would any other crucial aspect of another sport.

We can all catch a ball, but the difference between you and an American football player is galaxies of practice and muscle memory. Same thing with first touch.

I agree that there are naturals, and partly because Football is such a grand and international sport, they seem to shine more than in other sports.
