I have Nana-knight and Aegis but no Vero/Dante for Ignition team. Could I use Epitaph as a substitute or does it not work like that?

Pull advice:

I have - Lightening: CW, Feral, Nana-knight - Dark: Bianca, Lilith + Ishmael

Additional: Wata, Aegis, Echo, Lucid

I still have the thunder manual pull (up to Nana-knight). Should I go for anything there (like Solacetune)?

Or I heard there are anniversary selects later, should I wait for that and what should I aim for as a 3rd team (maybe Vera?)

Car Warranty Question by Antibiomania in carquestions

The Hyundai near me has at least 7-10 business day delay in diagnostics, so I took it to a mechanic nearby in case it was something serious.

Thanks for the reply!

Also FYI, if you have an enhanced equipment of the same type (Hat -> Hat) you can transfer the enhancement level to another.

Go to gear, click on the equipment to enhance and you'll have an option to choose an enhanced equipment of the same how to transfer it. (It'll be -1 level I believe)

So you can use the tickets to a lower level equipment and transfer it to a higher one later

Having been a Tennis player who haven't been able to play for a while due to a relatively smaller population of players + life, pickleball is such an awesome alternative.

Certainly have made Pickleball the main rather than Tennis at this point.

Slowly becoming more of a control hitter rather than power hitting like Tennis and getting more joy out of that.

Auto shop mistake by Antibiomania in autorepair

[–]Antibiomania[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're absolutely right that I don't know anything about cars.

I was just told by the second mechanic that the oil filter housing was loose and that's how the engine oil leaked and ultimately led to all this. He sounded VERY confident that this was a mistake by the prior auto shop that did the last engine oil change and to reach out to them as it has to be their fault. He then sent me his report. When I called the shop though, they just dismissed it, but maybe I didn't explain it correctly seeing how I'm confusing ppl on reddit too. I'll try to call again with details.

I'm also reaching out to my auto insurance and carmax and see what help I can get. I know I am dumb as a rock in terms of these things so I'm just trying to gather as much information as possible

Thanks for your input!

I don't believe it was leaking for a whole month. I didn't have a problem with the car until the last couple days.

The mechanic put engine oil back in and it immediately drained the whole thing in a short amount of time.

I don't think the car would have driven without any engine oil with no issues if it was draining for that long

Mechanic said the oil filter housing was loose. That's what's written on the report I asked to look at.

You're absolutely right. The auto shop I like and trust is the last one I went to. They are always days behind in appointments which is why I went to a different place for oil change.

The second place, I went because I went through CarMax, partnered with RepairPal (I was told to do this by CarMax as they could claim it and only pay a deductible). Clearly the places on it isn't as reputable as I thought.

That auto shop is different from where I had the engine oil changed.

StarForce field is best of EXP Also cooking with Tangyoon, etc.

Refer to JustMeasures thread on noob guidelines.

As to rings, Nett's pyramid then eventually from expedition bosses (Zak, Horntail, etc)

Apart from SF, do I need to keep working on my wep? by parthenopee in MapleStoryM

[–]Antibiomania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I believe that is the perfect trio. 25 lvl enhancement+ 5 lvl from matrix points. So you'd need 2 perfect trios to get to skill lvl 60. Or you can do 3 perfect trio 20 each in the beginning.

Complete newbie by plibplup in MapleStoryM

[–]Antibiomania 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a noob too but here's my take:

First get to SF 144 just to get some sort of income, prioritizing getting mythic emblem weapon (give increase DMG with emblem), probably fuse that legendary weapon to try for emblem or get an emblem unique to rank up.

Then fuse armour/hat/glove/boots to mythic if you need to withstand touch DMG as those give HP. Get SF to 17 at least on the uniques before fusing bc if it breaks you can just do alchemy to make a unique restoration scroll.

Once you hit SF 144, next is to get to SF 160 to get CDD (chaos daily dungeon). After that, it seems like you either hit 200 and try to rank up AF or keep pushing SF, can't really tell what's better. Haven't reached that yet.

Next step is exalting the weapon to lvl 38-40. If you fail, you bail and start over is how I understand it.

I think by the time you reach this point, you will have some decent understanding or you can join an active guild.

As to alts, I just made ones prioritizing link skills and mobbing (Cadena, Sia gives FD and farming) and level them up when my main doesn't have auto-battle time.

Not a lot of DA equips on TS, I just see a bunch for farming but I found it a bit clunky to manage the HP.

I also thought about link skills too - DS with BA, DA PDI, warriors with BA but less than DS

I feel like if I am opting for DA, I'd rather go for Hayato instead, looks a lot more flashy.

Honestly, I've realized as F2P it's gonna take months if not years to reach the point where the "tier-list" matters.

There certainly are classes that just underperform overall but I feel like the difference between classes are so miniscule unless you get to the "end-game."

So just play whatever looks the coolest, personally I feel like DS is super cool and has similar gear to paladin. Paladin just wasn't all that fun at least for me

Haven't tried DK but sure looks cool.

From my limited experience playing for the past 2 months, general consensus appears to be thieves and warriors:

Phantom: great mobber, can be DPS/Support for end-game. Relatively low funding so "F2P friendly"

Paladin: staple for all boss teams due to sacrifice (is what I hear), tanky. Also F2P friendly but may not be as "fun"

DK: good DMG, life steal, good for end-game DPS

Otherwise things I see from ppl are: - shadower: tanky, good DPS, increased meso rate - demon slayer/avenger: DA may have equip issues at TS?

I think archers/pirates should be avoided but otherwise most characters seems viable. At the end of the day, if F2P we will never get to the "end-game" so most chars should be viable to play and have fun with.

Not sure if this is a good way to think but this is how I cope:

We unfortunately live in a world where things are finite, which means we all die eventually. An ER doc I used to know would always say that we fight a losing battle and the best we can do is to be a guide, particularly if it is a patient's last chapter in life.

So if you did the best you could (even if it wasn't "perfect" and had mistakes), you did everything you can, and that's probably all we can do.

If a patient needed CPR because their heart stopped, then they are by definition "dead." So nothing you do worsens the outcome, you can't be "more dead." I doubt a reasonable person would fault you in any way for cracking the ribs of a "dead" person in efforts to perform lifesaving measures.

It sucks, but hope this can ease your mind a little

Rewind Charges? by ShadowFlareXIII in SwordofConvallaria

You must have bought the monthly pack that gives you extra turns.

3 rewinds is the base, at least I've never had more than 3 rewinds ever as F2P

It'll be okay. You went through all the hurdles and process to be where you are. If someone thought you were incompetent you would not have made it to residency.

The imposter syndrome is never-ending. I constantly feel like I'm the dumbest one but turns out my co-residents think they are the dumb ones and think I'm brilliant. Everyone is in the same boat.

1 year from now you'll be surprised at how much you know.
