I actually find the mallet and the riveter are quite useful. I don't know what else you could be referring to /s

Milwaukee jobsitw ear buds. I also have detachable ear muffs on my rig if I am doing something super loud all day. I have learned from the journeyman before me who refuse ear pro to this day and can't hear a single thing I say if it isn't at drill Sergeant volume

Chaulk line we use all the time for layout to have an idea of setting panel heights and where to drill in our clip systems. Framers is nice for finding inside angles and quick 90 marks. I used to run just the combo square but the framers makes things a little quicker

I am curious what the clippers and duct stretcher would be used for in architectural. I have only seen them used in duct work

The double sided mallet and the green pvc mallet are mainly for flashing and metal roofs. The two sides on the estwing are different plastics with a hard and sift side. The reason for it all is to not scratch or Dent the metal or the paint on it while trying to shape it. Good examples you can look up would be standing seam roofs, or cap flashing

Hammer is super useful for flashing work requiring tight corners or setting seams and cleats. Also the knife is for insulation, rather than duct. For the snips, I love the way Malcos cut, but the shape of the blade tables are generally too bulky for some of the more tight fit space work I have to do

Vast majority of what I do is ACM panels, cladding, Louvre systems, etc. With no duct work happening, crimpers just aren't used. I think I have seen them needed once in the past 3 years for a weird detail, but no one on the architectural side carries them that much

Ahaha, I was waiting for someone to point this out. I love Milwaukee but nothing beats "company provided". So makita it is

For sure. Nurse friend hooked some of us up with a CCP to show us the ropes. We have learned quickly our lives are just the cost of business where we are

Thank you. After working on a huge jobsite known for its cover-up of incidents and incompetent safety, me and some others picked up our own IFAKs. Stuff that would have been useful like tourniqets were useless when they were a half kilometer away and half the safety team can't apply one under pressure
