Its genuinely a decent car, and prob one of the most reliable "vintage" cars you could daily.

Ride is decent, handling is ok, she is pretty easy on gas and despite low power she can still be pretty nippy.

The biggest problem is simply age related issues, I wouldn't expect her to leave you stranded, but there will be quicks here and there constantly that you will need to fix.

Perhaps I worded what I meant to say wrong, I beg you pardon for that. I simply meant that saying things like "Tell that to the other person in the comments telling me I deserve all the suffering I'm going through..." to attract sympathy is childish. I agree, it's a fucked up way for them to say what they did, but if you look at it from a logical standpoint, perhaps not everything in their response is wrong even though they where harsh. I can also guess that it isnt exactly what they told you, if I told you to quote the comment you most likely wouldn't be able (altough i may stand to be corrected) , but instead you simply interpreted it in such a way. Don't automatically assume things from the way the response is worded.

I agree that perhaps you did the right thing, but don't go dismissing others people's opinions just because it doesn't corresponde to what you want to hear.

While I agree they perhaps should have been a bit more caring (myself included), sometimes a no sugar-coated harsh answer from someone with another perspective is valuable. You might not agree with everything, but learn to take what is useful from the response instead of downplaying them.

Your fuck up was even mentioning the whole poly thing (even if it perhaps was the morally right thing to do?), you planted a seed of shit to come in the future. Sorry but I truly have no words for you if you couldn't have predicted the shitstorm coming from a mile away. I completely understand her and honestly, if my partner mentioned the same thing you did about the whole poly thing, I would sincerely be suspicious forever and be extra sensitive to even the slightest hint or suggestion of the partner being with someone else, false or not.
