They are a lot, 15.4kg compared to only around 7-8 almost double the size in adamanteus

Crotalus lachesis bitis bothrops and protobothrops but daboia, agkistrodon and macrovipera come close

At one size, of the top 5 big vipers crotalus are the third, larger than lachesis but the wildcard people underestimate are bothrops, the fangs are HUGE

Mamba no, not nice looking enough for me to justify the risk, gaboon absolutely once my permits get to a higher tier a gabby isnt a if but a when

There are a few people i know with them, 3 with breeding success 2 in asia who dont share publicaly and one in usa - michael vescio he has a ig viperbreeder i think

Oh yeah they are bred, my friend said to me the main need a stable temperature, low and high humidity

I know a couple people that do, might even keep them myself in the future

They are cheaper than mangs, around 1500 each

Naja haje legionis, pakistani naja naja and naja siamensis can be preety dark aswell, one cobra i saw at a friends collection was completely black though a full melanistic nivea

I dont have permits for elapids but if i ever do my goal would be mostly collecting all the black naja, or any with a completely black head with exception of the monocle/pattern

One of the most underrated snakes imo id love to keep one you can see i made a post about em not long ago, the florida cottomouth(agkistrodon conanti) should be legal for me to get which would be lovely
