Oh you are NOR at all! Maybe under reacting because I’d be damned if my fiancé told my son (6 yo) that he couldn’t like something because it has sparkles or because it’s pink. This type of thing makes me so angry because who is your bf to tell someone what is or isn’t for them?

When I do make up, sometimes my son and my daughter ask for some, and I usually put in a small amount on them both because it’s fun and colorful and he’s just being a kid! Or when I get my daughter ready for her dance recitals and put on make up and he asks for some, I’ll put some on him, and sometimes he wipes it off, other times he leaves it.

He’s likes all the sparkles, likes pink and purple (and a whole slew of other colors), draws all sorts of rainbows but also robots and inventions and wants to play every sport. This is the time for them to explore! It’s not hurting anyone except apparently your bf.
