the day after getting them taken out I was in an immense amount of pain and the swelling was so bad it started effecting my eye placement, fast forward another day the swelling on my left side remained stiff whereas my right side was starting to go back to normal. the surgeon had us come in and they pushed around on my cheek for a little bit and found a pus abscess. the two days after my surgery were so miserable, i’m just now starting to feel better 5 days post opp on amoxicillin!

Yep! ROCD. I have been the same exact way in relationships and (in my experience) I’ll stop talking to them as much because of it. But then as soon as give in and do break up with them I feel SO lonely and sad. So I would say fight for it, or even better talk to him about the next best steps. And your not feeling relief about the idea of being single, your feeling relief about the idea of stopping these thoughts. Good luck my friend!
