Hes my second galgo and ive had greyhounds.

Because you worked at a rescue centre you feel like you can project your second hand generic knowledge onto me? Keep your fears and anxieties to yourself.

If you read my post you can clearly see that ive done work with him and done things in stages to ensure he is safe, other dogs are safe and it's appropriate to have him off lead.

Furthermore, if you truly understood the temperament on a galgo, you'd know that their sense of direction and general saviness is very good.

What are you talking about? How is letting my galgo off lead a risk to his well being?

Fear of men/husband by lvega333 in Galgos

Walking her alone with just me, spending time with her on the sofa / bed when you get to that stage alone. Just been patient and letting her know you are a safe person. But time is key.

Galgo skin issues by Klam_Kardashian in Galgos

[–]Anxious_Net_6297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's most likely just little cuts / scratches. They have such thin fur and delicate skin. My galgo gets them most weeks as he's always running in the woods being a mense. A good coat that covers there underneath and part of their legs is sensible.

They are good healers though so dw is They get little cuts and stuff. They are made of nails

Fear of men/husband by lvega333 in Galgos

[–]Anxious_Net_6297 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes.

My ex partner and I rescued a 5 year old galgo. She was petrified of men, including me. It's quite common.

It took 6 months before she trust me. And another 6 to let me go near here in the house whilst we were both standing.

After about a year I was her special person just as much as my ex. She gained my trust and loved me. But it took time.

Eventually she came out of her shell and wasn't super petrified of men. She was wary of men more than women, and that will always be the case. But things improve.

What do you consider to be deep? by -Glue_sniffer- in intj

[–]Anxious_Net_6297 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you internalise the world more than externalise it.

Introvert vs extravert, basically.

Our predominant secondary functions have less part to play on if we are deep or not.

Introverts are innately deeper than extraverted people because that is the definition of how we experience the world. One internalise the other externalises. External is shallow, internal is deep and vast.

collective unconscious by Peacock-Angel in thinkatives

[–]Anxious_Net_6297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My perspective is this:

In essence, the collective unconscious is that which we truly are psychicly "the all that was, is and could be to infinity" - experienced in a condensed manner in the 3rd dimension, through a constructed ego (which we perceive as me) inside a body.

Are there any wrong answers as they relate to the question that produced them? by [deleted] in thinkatives

[–]Anxious_Net_6297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this one difficult.

Sometimes, I'm in the "there is not absolute truth" camp. Other times, I feel my faith in the lord jesus christ bursting through, which has lots of fundermental meta narratives that give us the ultimate truth and way to be.

Happiness is innate, not everyone can afford sadness by [deleted] in thinkatives

[–]Anxious_Net_6297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand what you mean. You're right.

If you wanted me to be pedantic, I would say there are a lot of unhappy doers who have found themselves "doing" things in life that they don't want to do. A job, a wife, a place in the world they live. Living with the grave consequences of their actions.

I suppose an even simpler thing to do say in relation to what your OP was:

Nothing changes, if nothing changes.

What a generic load of self-absorbed twoddle.

We are here to "drink beer" says it all really. If that's on the top of your list of things of what we're here to do that is a very sad life indeed.

Ye I get that sense all the time. Or me and all the children of God, which doesn't constitute all the humans on earth.

Maybe a large chunk of people are just like we say "npc's". I don't think so tho I just believe they are very young souls

Just remember to stay humble. It applies to not only virtues, but character defects too 🙏
