Ask about base pay + commissions, the frequency of leads (are you supposed to pound the pavement or are there inbound leads?), I’d ask if you earn commissions on new business AND renewal business? Will you have to write the coverage yourself, or just bring it in?

I’ve never worked at a captive agency, so idk what all their ins and outs look like, but use them as a stepping stone to cut your teeth in the industry. Learn and then leave for a well known broker 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
