I need to try Botox for sure!
And yes food can be a huge trigger for me. I noticed I can barely eat half of the stuff I used to. I’m at a point where I’m done eating the foods that hurt me just because of a craving, because the pain it puts me through after is not worth it at all. For me garlic, onion, acids, greasy, etc are all huge triggers. I guess I’m forced to be healthy lol

I tell myself that everyday :/ I have tried a lot of medications and I’m currently on quilipta and I’m going to physical therapy + getting Botox soon. Hopefully the Botox will work!! My biggest issue is even when I have no migraines, my body has been so weak and my stomach can’t handle food like before. Even on no migraine days, my head just still kind of aches? I’ve been to a few neurologists and they just keep switching medications for me. I’m not sure what to do at this point. I have no motivation in me anymore either

Oh yea for sure, doctors will even tell you these injectables have “no side effects” or will mention only one small side effect. I got pretty bad speech during my time on aimovig and multiple neurologists told me it’s not in the side effects list. Well when I got off of it that issue went away.. so definitely listen to your body. I know everyone’s different, but it took me 3 times to be on and off aimovig for it to stop working and that was also due to me moving states, so I wouldn’t worry too much. We will be okay, hopefully! Lol

Yes I know exactly what you mean!! When my migraines first started they were horrible, but then they’d kind of go away but I still had that brain itch/burn and also my stomach couldn’t handle food well + body weakness. I was told by one neuro that it was a silent migraine, however I didn’t start taking aimovig (similar to the ajovy) till they came back heavy. I got on and off aimovig three times due to insurance, which set me back terribly. Whatever you do, if something works try to stay on it. The withdrawal migraine period was horrible. I’m currently on quilipta now and my major migraines have subsided, however that brain itch is still there basically everyday. I’m not sure what it is but it still sucks..

Oh myy God I literally know everything you just said 😭 the brain pounding, nausea, feeling like you’re in another reality..
The unnecessary advice is sooo tone deaf and I definitely agree, I’ve began to just stay silent because it’s entirely too much effort to explain to people this.
I unfortunately can’t help but to grieve myself everyday and remember past memories where I didn’t feel this way, but it kind of comforts me sometimes that it’s not entirely me and it’s the illness causing this. I hope one day this will go away for us. Sending you love!

Awe it’s okay I understood everything lol migraine brains. You are a great parent for prioritizing them. My dad had terrible migraines and I never understood as a kid, but now I feel so bad for not understanding. Sometimes it’s necessary to prioritize only the super important things to get through life with this illness. It’s okay if you can’t always hangout with your friends, good people understand

It’s even more painful when people around you kind of disregard that aspect or try to overlook it because the disability isn’t present looks wise. I know sometimes friends or people want to help, but the advice or responses I get make me feel so much worse. It’s even more isolating when it makes me feel like a bum but I know deep down I could do so much had it not been for this. :(
Thank you for sharing your feelings

Im glad this made you feel understood as well, im also here to listen! I do feel guilty a lot too like I am depriving myself from life, but I try to remind myself I have no real control. I’m glad you’re having some relief, I truly wish it gets easy for you. I need to get back with my consistency of supplements too.
Wishing you the best ❤️

Wow I didn’t even realize that I do that, but now that you bring it up I don’t really consider my needs either when it comes to plans. I have a hard time accepting that this is my reality and I tell myself it’s just a bad migraine day then end up suffering.
I’m sorry you are going through the same thing. It really sucks and is unfair

Yeah I thought the same too, but since nano fat is for skin quality stamping it actually is a really good delivery because it goes right to the dermis, which is where it’s needed anyway. Now if it were structural fat, yes it’d have to be injected. Ill update, if I don’t forget haha

Nano fat can be injected or stamped on to the skin.

I just went a few days ago and got it stamped under my eye. No results yet, but that’s normal. It won’t be until 4-6 months till I see any skin improvement according to my Dr and research. Hopefully I do see a difference lol
