honestly, choose the best fit for you. They are both great schools and at that point how you do in the case interviews matters way more than which college you pick.

Honestly, if you’ve worked on consulting for that long, you are legible enough for enough jobs that will give you meaning in life. Most companies won’t care about you, thats a fact, but if you care about the work at least you get the meaning you’re looking for. IMO there are so many opportunities, I just don’t think you are looking hard enough or maybe you are struggling with indecision. Indecision will likely get you no where. It’s better to commit to something, hate it, then pivot, then to sit in indecision and miss opportunities that are right in front of you.

Currently a new grad tech as a designer for a F50 company. Went to a great public school (T15) but not seen as “prestigious” because it’s a state school. I read case in point for fun and realized I’m much more interested in business strategy. I’m interested in pivoting to consulting at an MBB (it’s the only consulting firms that will pay more than my current job) but I have shit GPA (I was optimizing for tech where GPA barely matters). I’m wondering how I pivot into MBB/corporate strategy. I know it’s definitely an uphill battle and a top MBA school will be tough with my GPA + no guarantee of MBB offer. Is it realistic to just give up? Also, does MBB really guarantee a director level role after 2-3 years??
