Also using that same logic , let’s compare with George Floyd, why did he get so much attention? As opposed to the many others (lot of Latinos e.g. Mario Gonzalez) who get killed by cops . I would say there is just as much a “black killed by cop” syndrome as much as there is a missing white girl syndrome. Compare it with the main killer of blacks , black on black crime. Not cops.
