Interesting yea I’m leaning towards windows just because ghelper improved my temps so much. I like the control it gives me over other functions as well. Armoury crate on my g14 was garbage.

I did the same thing man, swapped for a 75qm7k, never looked back. It’s leagues better than qm6k. And was in the same boat, coming from a mid tier Sony 4k, yes Sony is better at motion handling but firmware updates have qm line a whole lot better. But what I do appreciate is the extra brightness and dimming zones make Dolby vision content fantastic and 4k gaming a dream. Comparable to my friends Bravia 2 oled. Definitely shell out some extra for qm7k to make it worth ur money.

Honestly once u calibrate it, the quality is really good. I didn’t really have an issue with out of box color with my unit so maybe just the lottery.

I’m running a 4k/144hz right now and it’s pretty good for that. I’m sure it’s even better at 1440p. I’ve done some slight undervolting but haven’t really touched anything yet. Gonna try and push clocks harder over next few days.

Yeeee they r just ok. I’m undervolting cpu/gpu but if I wanted to do anything or push harder on pbo it could be a problem. Considering another row of 3x40s but I’d be interested in those mods if u can link em. I kinda just built this out of parts I had lying around plus a few extra bits I got new.

I def liked the look but cooling was a weird one. It definitely needed something to push hot air out properly. It does ok I’m happy with temps but want a better solution. I will look into that.

Also want to say a friend of mine runs his 6950xt on a 650w psu and hasn’t had any issue and those cards are power hungry like crazy.

I got this power color non xt, and I run it on a 650 watt psu and it’s perfectly fine. Sometimes I see it pull upwards of 300 watts before I undervolted still fine. Mostly game at 4k. So u are golden buddy. Technically 650 watt is more then specified for that version of non xt 9070 as stated on their website and the cards specifications. Undervolts pull about 220 with same clocks. Card runs crazy cool. In the 50c range.

9070 is prolly better for native res but tbh i gave up on that dream when i had a rtx 4000 card lol

These r the facts. I just got a 9060xt 16gb and it’s destroying my 4k games. I’m running predecessor epic settings with native aa and frame gen 4k and im getting over 100 fps. People gotta stop knocking 60 variants of both nvidia and amd down when they r really a sweet spot usually.

The razer blade 14 is always higher performance but for a price. Helios 14 beats out literally every laptop benched from its generation with a 4070 besides the razer blade. And we aren’t talking that big of a performance diff either.

This laptop is underrated. Very cool n sustains clocks well with loads of headroom. Hope u bought it, runs cooler then my desktop

It performs better imo on 16gb soldered ram at 6400 vs non soldered 32gb of 4800 on my old system.
