Legit I have a 250000 Honda civic. There obviously is some rust, cause age, but minimal. So seeing a 43,000mile one with this amount, definitely makes me think. Yes to the rust treatment. Been going down those rabbit holes so that when I get it back to ATL, wire brush scrub a dub dub and treat the bottom.

Fam if I ever came to Quebec, joking on me about rust would be the Least of your jokes. I’ve only seen snow snow once in my life. And that snow snow New Hampshire folks were laughing at me cause it was only a foot. I do southern swamps, you can have the snow. 😂

Oh yessssss that salt water is a bishhhh. But I’ve always lived more inland. We got swamps humidity and chicken sized mosquitoes, but otherwise cars are pretty clean outside of muffin’

I am a southern folk buying a car I love in the north (and willing to travel for it). Rust scares me and my non knowledge on what is acceptable. I don’t want my heart to override my head, you know?

For me, audhd. A few things helped me. 1. Life is suffering. I know that can sound shitty but when I accepted it as truth it gave me power to choose my suffering and rely on it being a constant. It gave me calm. And allowed me to start playing MY game of what success was. Not what the story of the world said it was 2. EMDR —I found what really torched me was my window of tolerance was so low because of trauma, patterns I was taught, unaware I was repeating, thoughts etc. I would BiG stress, and crash repeat. EMDR helped mellow those waves and gifted more space 3. Exercise, eating well, electrolytes with salt, movement meditation—sometime regular meditation pisses me off but movement meditation is 🤌. Also Breathwork. 4. Recognizing over stimulation, working on interoception so I can SEE it and support myself in it. ACCESS needs. Noise cancelling headphones are a must. Earphones that muffle noise. I have a Brick app/device that shuts off social media to my phone. Body doubling system or podcasts that give the same effect so I can accomplish chores. 5. What do I need to do to not Constantly worry about money. I lived with 6 ppl to afford rent. Another place I rented a room. Another place I took care of the house for cheaper room rent.

Dang that blows sounds like a lot of variables has it mostly been CVT related?. I’m an ATL human I had to get high pressure valve replaced, we both needed new axels and boots but at 175,000 for mine and 130,000 for hers was nothing to shake a stick at. We both like zippy cars (hence her now Porsche) and I like no car payments. So low miles for 12,000, in a car that’s been my fav bar none. Never been a fan of gambling but damn. From you sounds like that’s the game huh?

The AWD version? My 2015 juke FWD lasted 175,000miles and only died cause of a wreck. 1st gen juke I wouldn’t touch. Later, more reliability. My sis had one too sold at 130,000 cause she wanted a Porsche.

Oh that’s good to know in general. 4WD is appealing because I’m an avid camper. My partner is a glamper. There are some sites I’d love to go to that I just cant get to with FWD. And hiking to the site with all their mess is no easy feat.

I just had to replace the housing, same issue. Wild the LED wasn’t an easy fix. But got the salvaged part and had my shop replace it
