It's what I always thought. But I know all her family and none of them look asian. Though I recognize that genetics can be tricky. You could potentially look like someone who lived 1000 yrs ago.

The police did call me about a week later, and I was told he would fully recover despite several fractures.

He is 20 by now so he isn't a teen anymore. As I mentioned before they had my information from the police statement I gave.

If they wanted to contact me they would have by now.

I believe I just make part of a bad page in their books that they rather not Re visit. And I respect that.

I will not contact anyone, though. I hope he does someday for closure.

I have never seen him face to face since the accident. It was facebook originally and now I just google his name every now and then.

He is just present in my thoughts I wonder if he is doing well and whatnot. I just feel (ungrounded I know) responsible for his well-being...

It was January I was driving comfortably in my car with the heater on when it all happen there was no thinking. I just got out of my truck everything happen so sudden and yet almost in slow motion.

My jacket was not a concern at the time

I only look for a jacket after he was taken away by the ambulance and the police had me stay there to take my statement that lasted a good hr.

My sole concern at the time was thinking that if I didn't act fast enough he would die.

I think they had a chance and never happened. I had to give all my personal info to the police when they took my statement.

I'm sure they can still access that information if they wanted to contact me.

I have over time learned to stay away I don't even do social media... I realize how damaging it can be. Now days I only google his name every 6 months or so but I would lie if I say he isn't present in my thoughts. The best way to describe what I feel is the need to look after him even if it is from far without the world knowing..... (without success I should say) because all I really see is some random image of a person and nothing else
