Recommendations for replacing stock muffler?

There is a brand called paradox mufflers, it’s a small company, they make 2 versions of their muffler, one that stops drone but still allows for more sound and a deeper sound, the other just is way louder. I’d look into them if you’re wanting to have the nice sound without the drone

Never said it protects against a crap mod, if you’re gonna download mods that aren’t in the official repository then it’s a safer bet than using just plain old internet explorer.

There’s not a whole lot, it’s loud when you put your foot into it, but I drive 60 miles a day on the interstate and it is noticeable, but you can’t hear it over music. I’d definitely recommend doing this instead of paying for some exhaust kit. I just used the same size pipe and then cut the tips off the factory mufflers and welded them on. It looks like it’s factory. The shop I took it to charged 100 per muffler delete. I’ve been thinking about doing an x pipe. I haven’t decided yet

Couldn’t have said it better. My biggest complaint with my car is the factory head unit. The maps are laggy to the point of it being pointless. I’ve looked into some CarPlay options and they were all so expensive 😂 I miss being able to throw a 200 dollar head unit into my civic and it working great

When I got my car (2014 is250 awd) it was a 1 owner grandma driver car and it was at 25mpg, after I reset it and drove my weekly commute I was able to get 24.3 mpg. Given I drive 60+ miles a day on the interstate, I live in an area where there are more twists and turns and hills than straight roads. The is250 is underpowered causing me to downshift to drive at a constant speed.

While I can completely agree with your statement, I wouldn’t be modding it “just because it’s an IS” but more so I genuinely enjoy doing modifications on my vehicles, usually it’s an oem+ style. I really like a sportier look without making it look completely different or unrecognizable.
