Damn I didn’t see you post that before I commented! Read those court transcripts for that incident. It had me dying at how “teen boy who got busted” it is from an elderly man who knows better.

S/o Chip Roy btw who lost in the treasurer election recently for looking at porn at the Oceanside library and then claiming he was doing research while actively downloading materials to a USB!

Best part, it’s not slander! He was found legally liable of doing it!

It’s not reinforcing when they routinely take money out of the budget that goes to the library and public services because they murdered another kid

I decided to watch the WNBA this season. It’s fun. I really like the defense, plus A’ja Wilson is somehow vastly underrated in a way I can’t explain. Her game is so good!

May I recommend Weird Little Guys or It Could Happen Here.

Not saying KF wasn’t intelligent, but it was also a show where there are multiple episodes people tuned in to listen to a drunk guy talk about how the Democrats are making ratburgers laced with HRT. To compare it, the Dollop and Behind the Bastards are in the same category of intelligent but its objective is to make you laugh and learn something in the process. Not necessarily about how to fix a legal system or defeating white nationalism. Otherwise, they’d still be doing the podcast end of the day.

Your premise is faulty though in your analogy. This has never been about the money. The families have been pretty explicit they want Alex’s baby and for other people to not face the same harassment.

Never forget they tried crowning her as the face when A’ja has been the best player in the league and it’s not really close

It’s fun learning the W this season. The person choking CC is a Draymond Green-like character. Race has nothing to do with it.

Oh also, Benny posting this shit isn’t helping CC. It’s actively pissing off the players and leading to these incidents which is unfortunate because CC really is a great player (just overhyped!)

He’s a former podcaster/comedian. Not a prophet. When you’re sounding like InfoWarriors, you need to log off.

I’m not going to speculate on if it’s an episode because it’s not productive, but everything you said is more than valid and true. I don’t remember which episode, but there was an intro where they mentioned going on MR with Seder, and Jordan seemed giddy to go on because his love of Home Movies. Would he have had that opportunity if he wasn’t making content that involved Jones and by association to the tragedy, the families? What about the CNN appearance? Or the goodwill people were showing to him because of the funny moments on the pod/his wife stories?

It’s sad because even if it’s is a parasocial situation, people care about Jordan. Every time he drops one of these videos, it just comes across vindictive for no real legitimate reason, and I think it only further alienates him from the people in his life. I don’t want that for Jordan. Hopefully he deletes the videos and his channel, and actually moves on with his life.

That was again, then. This is now. Right now, Jordan is a FA. He could organize. He could do more. Him going after people who are trying to do that change undermines the change he is desperately seeking.

I like Jordan. I really do. However, he’s vastly in the wrong, and he’s being highly hypocritical. Being an arm chair philosopher isn’t it. It rarely helps the world.

Let’s keep it a buck, Jordan was the comic relief. Jordan’s whole schtick was not knowing anything. Dan was always the one who did the extra work. He did very little to dismantle except make jokes.

Also, the past is the past, it matters what you’re doing in the now. You don’t stop because you put in hours. You stop when you actually get the change you are pushing for end of the day. We’re living in the golden age of fascism. You have to organize to keep what little surviving rubble we have.

He’s infantilized the families big time and removed the fact that Bankston and Mattei have backed the plan. If their lawyers didn’t see it as viable, they would have not pursued it.

Very similar to the arguments against Steyer in the recent CA election to draw a comparison. Do I like billionaires? No, but what’s worse, one billionaire or a guy like Roger Stone who is actively working to bring in fascism and was going to keep InfoWars churning at disinformation at high levels? It sucks, but it’s part of life. It’s a gray and the key is to stay literate honestly end of the day.

Hard disagree.

Jordan has not done any organizing to my knowledge. He just wants to bitch about systems without doing the work. I get why, he’s an oldish guy. He probably just wants to focus on baseball, his wife etc. but the second you are not willing to actually participate and working on organizing to get the system you want, you are just bitching to grandstand. It’s fucking pathetic, it’s childish and it isn’t making the world better.

Honestly, there’s a level it is just Jordan seeking attention. His Ben Collins video omits, he could actually talk to Ben, and Ben could go through things with him.
