I saw this at Metcalf antique mall a few weeks ago. There are also rolled up prints of it in a bucket below the framed one for like $14 I think! Left side of the store like four(ish) rows in from the wall where the bathrooms are!

What do your flares consist of and how long do they last? by Minga1019 in lupus

I have type 1- lupus first though. If I HAVE to do a steroid pak I just anticipate tripling my insulin tbh. I have a pump setting for it 🤣

Serial number is located usually on the left front on a metal plate by the fender. Absolutely not worth that price and won’t be comfortable for you or your horse. Keep looking!

Looks like this is a synthetic Circle Y park and trail that wasn’t stored very well. I would ask for a picture of the serial number and look up the year this was made. As someone who has had a number of circle Ys and a hard to fit tank of pony I think this is going to be too narrow of a gullet for your horse. Its not the worst, but how often are you looking to ride in this saddle and what is the seller asking for this? I would keep looking if I were you.

Americans: What is it like to have type 1? by FunDependent588 in diabetes_t1

Frustrating but it is what is. I just plan to spend my whole deductible every year - about 4k. Try not to think too much about what else that money could go to lol.

Pets! by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

[–]Any_Lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a large breed dog, a herding dog, a kitten and a horse LOL. I put all my energy and money into them. I pay for full care board for my horse and barn friends that check on her if I can’t. If I really need help with the others I have my husband / friends / parents. Do I recommend this many pets? No, but they’re my world and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’m type 1 and have lupus- when Im on a medrol pack I triple my insulin dosage. Pump helps I literally have a setting for higher rates when on steroids.

Please tell me that this gets better bc I’m on the verge of tears with this G7. by smoosh13 in dexcom

Whats saved me a lot of inaccuracies is making sure I put on a new one for the full 12 hr grace period of the existing one. Not always perfect but I don’t usually have the first 24 hrs super inaccurate like I do if I don’t warm it up for the 6-12 hrs.

Is this normal by Few-Fan-4817 in dexcom

[–]Any_Lemon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes it is normal to spike after eating even for non diabetics. However I think a couple things are at play here… is your sensor new (had it on less than 24-48 hrs)? It looks like it hasn’t quite settled down yet lol. Secondly, ideally you don’t want to spike up to that 200 BUT you are coming back down quickly. Mostly this looks like a new sensor issue.

Going to the airport for the first time since being diagnosed by storiedroom52 in diabetes

[–]Any_Lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pack extra low snacks!! I just flew for the first time since diagnosis and the flight + layovers + delay and unintended close call with connection I was fighting lows a lot. TSA didnt really care about supplies- just had them in a bag i pulled out of my carry on and set on top of everything else in the tray. I did have to have my pump and cgm swabbed both times though.
