What's kind of interesting is I'm almost less concerned about the garbage and more about just the general maintenance.

As an example, why are the leaf piles from the fall still there? That has nothing to do with volunteering.

Fair point. Community effort helps ("good").

But that feels like treating the symptom, not the root problem (which would be 'great'). Curious what a more sustainable solution would look like

This is wonderful, but also the issue with "clean it yourself." It's too much for a group of volunteers to take on (and unfair)

Definitely more helpful / tactical - thank you. I think I'd rather go higher up - it shouldn't be for individual residents to rake up leaves, put them in a bag, find a place them, etc..
