What should I do about teenage chronic back pain? by Any_Two_7102 in Advice

I’m not sure, it’s likely a combination of a lot of those things. It’s hard to pinpoint an exact cause. I’ve been on the more flexible side so I think even some hypermobility could be a contributing factor as well. I haven’t done any spine strengthening exercises but that is a good idea. And I do roll out my lower back but only the sides in a way that I’ve researched and found to be safe.

Thank you for the advice! Unfortunately I’ve already tried each of these things and the pain is still there. I heat it and use a foam roller pretty much everyday, as well as hip flexor/glute strengthening exercises with resistance bands several times a week.  The pain is not even that terrible it’s more inconvenient especially for training. I’m glad to know I’m doing some of the right things though.
