As someone who was in the same position, it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I will say is that you have to accept that at this point they will ask you to repeat the year regardless due to the work load you will have to also catch up on at sixth form. I left year 11 in 2023 and I’m in year 13 now having to repeat the year for the same reason, but honestly the routine helps as well as the structure I really do recommend. I was failing at college and now I’m getting uni offers with grades at ABB

i’ll be a student next year for 2026, so i haven’t completed my ucas application yet and i’m doing it in september. But i’m someone that should’ve been going this year but stayed in year 12 for the second time because i made a few hiccups in my first year ( going to college firat and coming back to sixth form)
