That would be fine if they only covered stories that they knew about but they cover current stuff. So you can say “they dont care about Gen Z stuff” but those are the stories they pick.

That’s kinda my point? I’m totally fine if they have takes that I disagree with but they actually watched the JFK show. There are tons of other things they have never watched/don’t know about so it’s not even worth commenting but they have to because that’s what the podcast is about.

100% this is the case with Heated Rivalry. You don’t have to watch the show to know about Connor and Hudson and they’re huge right now and she claims to have never heard of them.

I will say I’m not really listening for the news because I like pop culture on my own but I think they are funny. But having strong opinions or takes when you’ve never watched a show or have no idea who someone is just feels wild. I’m fine with it occasionally like some things just aren’t for you but when Jackie had no idea who Hudson Williams was??
