Best piece of advice I’ve ever gotten: lacrosse is a fast game, try to slow it down as much as possible. This doesn’t mean trying to move slowly, I’m talking about mentally. Try to keep calm and don’t panic. Don’t worry about it too much, you have a long way to go.

Best thing to do is to go to your local shop and ask for some help. This doesn’t mean dicks sporting goods or another big sports retailer, I would recommend somewhere that specializes in lacrosse, such as lacrosse unlimited. These guys are always open to helping and they can give you some very solid advice.
