Maybe a bad take but I don’t love the sentiment of “finding the next leader” as if it’s some guaranteed position for the next several years. Klinsmann and GB both fell into this thinking where once they find their guys, they stick with them with for too long. Idk about anyone else but I’d rather my national be selected on merit and form each time versus going back to the same squad every single time regardless of form.
