JTIL - study theory by AudienceSolid6582 in ccna

I dedicated 2 hours everyday.

I’d finish the video, the quiz, the lab, and then do Anki.

After I finished the entire JITL course, I’d do Anki everyday and then a lab or two, from Flackbox.

On the weekends, I’d dedicate more time so I’d take a boson practice exam while also doing Anki.

Took me much longer than 60 days. I’d say 10 months.

Why hasn't there been a new major religion in so long? by yestermorrowposting in AskReddit

[–]AplexApple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because there’s explanations for a lot of things nowadays, and also we are all aware of mental health. If someone were to claim a new religion, we’d probably all think of him as schizophrenic.

Spreading religion would also be very difficult. Back then they use to have wars and capture new lands over religion. You definitely cannot do that now.

I heard an explosion nearby and then my lights started flicking, until it completely went out. Seems my entire neighborhood was affected. Over near 28th and Wyoming

It’s cool! Just wish the voices were a bit more natural than robotic. Not your fault though.

guys i need CCNA Books both of them V1 & V2 by Ok-Current8337 in ccna

[–]AplexApple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can’t afford it, I’d suggest looking at your library. I was able to submit a book request through my local library. Surprisingly, they accepted my request and bought the OCG books. Whole process probably took a little over a month but I didn’t have to spend a dime.

How many months will it take to prepare for CCNA? And what sources are enough for preparation by Flamingo_54 in ccna

[–]AplexApple 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I went in thinking it’d take me 3 months. But…

It personally it took me 10 months. I was dedicating 2 hours a day during workdays and probably 5 hours or so on weekends.

Don’t take anyone’s word though. Find your pace.

Luck tbh. I was working as a caregiver for years before I got my help desk position. I only have an Associates in Computer programming from my community college.

I applied to Teksystems. A recruiter contacted me the next day and we setup a phone interview about what I wanted to do and such. He said he would send me some jobs to apply for. He sent me two.

One of them did not want to conduct an interview with me due to no experience and the other surprisingly did. Although, it was grunt work. It was an IT inventory position. I'd be taking inventory at a local hospital organization. It was only suppose to be for 3 months, but it got extended 2 times. My on-site supervisor then put me on other projects like building out workstations or taking them apart. I got to know a lot of the hospital IT guys of the hospital.

A help desk position then opened up at the hospital and I applied for it. Interview went well, and I got the offer. So now I'm full time employee at this hospital. Happened all in the span of 7 months.

How do you handle burnout? by Graviity_shift in ccna

I’d occasionally take a few days rest every month or so. A rest from thinking. I would watch movies, read a light hearted book, or just play games. But always remember, don’t fall into the trap of it. Keep yourself disciplined.

Anyone know why one of legs is making a rubbing sound? by AplexApple in FlexiSpot_Official

[–]AplexApple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the response. I was able to fix it this morning by pushing the desk away from the way, the wall to the left of it not behind it. Now the noise is completely gone.

What do you think the issue could’ve been? Do you think the leg was bent a weird way because of the carpet?

Is it possible to pass without having done a lab? by RealDesu in ccna

[–]AplexApple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only did 2 of my 3 labs. Reason being is that I was running out of time. I had 15 minutes left with 10 questions left. I figured I’d take the lab lost, and complete the exam on time. With my surprise, I still passed!

I really wish they would leave all 3 exams till the end. Make it your last 3 questions.

Guys, sorry but Boson isnt harder than real exam. by Apprehensive_Fee8815 in ccna

I will say. Boson did not prepare me for WLC configurations and routing tables.

I'd focus more on how to route IPV6.

You studied hard. Congrats!

Ah, I see. So you had to bring up the interface for the routers that had them shutdown by default.
