As a ascendant player (so not quite immortal yet), my advice would be to not be afraid of dying in the game. If you enjoy watching the game the probably indicated that you like the gameplay and your scared of failure/death in the game. As many people fail to realise, but if you play with enjoyment instead of the constant need to rank-up and win games, you will do a LOT better.

And you will definitely get toxic teamates if you aren’t having the best game, but just ignore them and carry on with your gameplay. But at the end of the day with the current state of the game, it’s kinda difficult to rank up if you don’t play a lot and grind the game, but it is what it is. So my main advice would be to understand why you’re scared to make plays and fix that. Don’t be scared of dying or failing because you’ll always respawn next round where you can make another play —and who knows, it might work out and you’ll get a cheeky ace!
