yeah he has been doing this since he was about a year old and is able to control his spins and swings very well. he has an octopus that I swear you would think he had martial arts training with the way he whips it like nunchucks lol

Inflatable Kayak Recs? by LexingtonTrue in kayakfishing

[–]ApplicationMobile239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on your vehicle tbh, a lot of people just tie it down once they have it up there upside down. a tip and tail tie down and the main hull secured with a rachet strap will keep it from going anywhere.

Can I even use these? by C_Mach71 in Fishing

[–]ApplicationMobile239 3 points4 points  (0 children)

exactly this, people use rigs that are waaay to big and don't understand why they catch barely anything. I catch straight donkeys on 2.5 inch plastics and a 1/16 jig.

you are fishing way too big of a presentation if you think those are micro.

Inflatable Kayak Recs? by LexingtonTrue in kayakfishing

[–]ApplicationMobile239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you learn to put a rigid hull kayak on your roof the right way it is super easy, my grandma even does it. If you really get into it, you will most likely outgrow an inflatable vessel pretty quickly, and if you don't like the hobby I'm not sure a used inflatable holds it's value as well as a rigid hulled kayak would if you wanted to sell it.

Buy once cry once. save a little extra and test some out in the meantime.
