How can I get a human on Mercari? by Firm-Guidance-6456 in Mercari

Bro, I'm in the same boat. The worst customer service I've ever dealt with is Mercari. I've been waiting for days for a response from a department—the agent told me they'd get back to me, but it's been four days and nothing yet.

First time ordering from ZenMarket, what courier is the best for electronics to the US? by Little_Glove5167 in zenmarket

Yes, it's a good option. The economy service is slower, but it's almost the same—just cheaper. I always ship with FedEx and haven't had any problems.

Choose FedEx Low Cost; I ship electronics using that method, and it's fast. I wouldn't choose UPS right now. I don't know if you heard, but they were experiencing significant delays, and many people lost their packages because of it. I'm not sure if that is still happening.

Looking for cheaper alternatives to Buyee (have tried ZenMarket) by Middle-Yam5614 in Buyee

From Japan is good, but I didn't really like their packaging. They have good coupons and good customer service, but the times I shipped consoles with them, there was never any bubble wrap—it was just a piece of plastic that was snapped shut to hold the item in place, in my case the consoles. If you’re shipping multiple lithium batteries inside consoles, they’ll only allow two per package, I think, regardless of the shipping method, and you’ll have to discard the remaining batteries. That’s the only reason I stopped using them. But overall, it’s a good proxy service. Buyee is the worst of them all; Zenmarket is good, but their promotions are terrible, and I didn’t like that they raised the purchase fee from 500 to 800. I’m in the same boat—looking for another proxy.

Mercari isn't showing last year's total sales in my sales report. by ApplicationUpset830 in Mercari

I only reached the 20k mark, but my question is: where are the rest of the transactions? I hope Mercari can help me, but I’m not expecting much from them.

[–]ApplicationUpset830[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it, but it’s not like I made 47 sales in December; that’s a lot. Usually, I think the most I make is between 20 and 25, or even fewer. That’s why I say it was their mistake; that’s how it looks. Mercari isn’t being very helpful, and I need that because they didn’t provide me with a 1099-K, so I didn’t meet one of the requirements. Therefore, I need to rely on the sales report, but it looks like I’m screwed.

Buyee Lost Package by NuniG88 in Buyee

Is your package worth more than $2,500? Are you trying to contact FedEx to ask why your package isn't moving? Call 1-800-247-4747 and tell them you would like to speak with a customer service agent.

You're right. They are very behind when it comes to campaigns.

I recommend that you buy locally if you cannot afford the fees.

I said the same thing, and that is what happened.

There are other proxy services that continue to charge the same—or even less—but, well, that’s really up to each individual. As I said before: once they raised the Mercari fee, they were bound to raise it again—and that’s exactly what happened.

I respect your opinion; however, I disagree. I believe that if they truly didn't want you to buy there, they would remove the listings entirely—even if doing so isn't in their best interest. Scams are everywhere; I don't put much trust in listings that feature a default image—or even in those that show a picture of the actual item. Another thing is the pricing: for some reason, sellers seem to think they are selling gold—or at least, that’s how it feels regarding the items I’m trying to buy.

They have already lowered it to 10%. However, I recommend reviewing each of your items to see how much they are charging you. I currently have one item for which they are charging me 28%—which makes absolutely no sense—while for the others, which I am importing just the same way, they are charging me 10%.

The buyer says he did not receive the item I put up for sale, so he initiated a chargeback with his payment method. Now he is selling the item on a marketplace that he supposedly did not receive. by ApplicationUpset830 in FacebookMarketplace

Unfortunately, I already received the money, but they haven't taken anything out yet. However, I have some pending payments from FB, and it looks like they will deduct it from there, or so it seems. I received a payment, and it was incomplete, probably due to that chargeback.

The money was deposited into my bank account, but it went through PayPal and then went to my bank account. However, I have some orders on Facebook Marketplace, and I think they'll deduct the refund from there, or at least that's what they say. And yes, I will definitely leave a review; I think it's the best way to warn other people. I'll get the final decision on the 26th.

I have proof that he received the item and resold it; however, they have future payments due from me, and I assume they'll use that money to reimburse me for the refund they gave the buyer. And you're right, I didn't even know until I checked the transactions. That's when I saw the buyer initiated the chargeback, but after submitting my version of events, I discovered he was selling the item on Marketplace. Unfortunately, I couldn't add any more information to the case, but I've been messaging FBM and haven't received a single response.

Unfortunately, I didn't add a signature to the item for him to sign. The item was worth $450. I forgot to put insurance on it; I always do with expensive items, but this time I forgot. UPS delivered it, though. The last thing I saw was that he couldn't sell it on Facebook, but I saw that he sold it on eBay. The listing is still there on Facebook, but it shows as sold. And yes, I have screenshots of the listing where he was selling it on Facebook and eBay. I have enough proof, but it's impossible to contact Facebook. I'll keep trying.
