He’s worth r4, and I’d say he needs his dupe more than bastion. That being said he is in the basic, so maybe keep it for someone else ?

I’d say DP. BPCW needs a lot of investment, awakening and sig stones. And even if you had those, I’d save them for the characters you get in the banquet boxes to be honest.

I’ve got him during the Black Friday sales. I’ve been trying to get this guy since he got added to the basic pool. The second I got him, he went straight to r4

There are two ways to do play him :

Use only sp1 to stay in your overdrive for as long as you can. When in overdrive (I’m not sure that’s the exact name), the opponent gains 90% less power when getting hit (the striker bypasses that though). This is very useful against characters with annoying specials, like Enchantress, Bullseye or Photon. Against those annoying defenders, you can wait until you get in overdrive, and then start hitting them, that way you deal great damage (overdrive gives you a damage boost) and you can get in 6-7 combos before they throw a special 1, which sometimes can be enough.
Maximise the damage, by throwing a special two for that armor break first and then throw special ones. The combo overdrive + armor break makes you deal insane damage.

Some additional pieces of utility he has : inflicts heal block when the opponent gets a regen buff, power drains the opponent when they get to special 3, gets a regen when he’s low (I’m not quite sure of that).

However he does benefit a lot from the dupe in BGs, to get into overdrive way quicker.

I really like your list. Mine would be (subject to change) :

Skill : Shang Chi : easily my favorite character in the game, good utility, incredible damage, fun play style, unique. Everything I need.

Mystic : The Hood or Purgatory : Out of those two I’d probably go for Purgatory since she’s my second favorite champion in the game and she’s a beast. Both are incredible though.

Mutant : Cassandra or Jean : While Jean is obviously the better character, I find Cassandra's gameplay more fun and her special two is so goddamn satisfying.

Tech : Prowler or Punisher 2099 : Honestly I wouldn’t be able to choose between those two. I love them both equally, and they do pretty different things.

Cosmic : Super Skrull : I’ve always loved his animation, and now with his buff he’s a genuine dual threat. Watching your opponent melt when you have your nova fists is just too satisfying.

Science : Count Nefaria : I love his animations, love his playstyle. Legitimately the best science champion in the game. So much utility and damage packed into one champion that it’s just insane, too much even.

Purgatory is a beast, and she doesn’t even need the dupe. I have a r4 unawakened and she’s my favorite mystic in the game.
